To whom it may concern,The customer brought his snowmobile in to us and had us do repair work and some upgrades. His snowmobile was not under warranty at this time. His warranty expired on 12/14/2014, according to Arctic Cat. After completing the work, the customer took the sled out and the new...

clutch we installed had broken some internal parts. These parts had broken due to manufacture defect and Arctic Cat warrantied the parts to fix the clutch. The parts to fix the clutch were back ordered for few months. When we discovered this I called other Arctic Cat dealers to try to find the parts, but they were also affected by the back order status. I then called Arctic Cat and talked to the Techs and they were able to get me the parts that I needed sooner. After we fixed the clutch, my mechanic took the snowmobile to the mountains to test it, a two hour round trip plus the testing time. We did not charge the customer for this, because we wanted to make things right for the customer. The sled rode great during the test ride, after our mechanic arrived back at our shop he tweaked some settings in the power commander that we installed to get it running top notch. When working with a power commander there are many variables that come into play to get it just right for the customer and their riding style.We are currently looking at his sled again at no cost to the customer because the customer states that the sled is acting up in the mid-range. Again, we are working on his sled at no charge to the customer to try to see why the sled is acting up. We are going to take the sled to the mountains again to try to get it to replicate the problem that the customer said the sled has because we cannot get it to act up in our shop. We are actively trying to correct the problems for this customer as he has informed us that he has a “big ride” coming up this weekend, we also have a 2017 snowmobile that is comparable to his that is available for demo if his snowmobile is not ready. After the customer decided he wanted to do all the work to his sled, we even offered to get him into a 3 year newer sled with all the updates and more, for about the same price as he was spending already.The fact that he has had to bring his snowmobile in four times is because he gave us minimum windows each week to work on the sled to correct the problem as he had to have his snowmobile for the weekends.Thank you,Chad E[redacted]Service ManagerCentury Motorsports and Marine
