My issue is with Century Property Management is the fact that I gave them a formal notice on October 4, after being terminated from my employment on October 3, On October 26, 2018, Century Property Management called me to inquiry if I was still moving from *** ** *** *** as promised On October 28, 2018, we moved all our content out of the house, cleaned the carpet as request and turned in the keys as instructed by the representatives in the office of Century Property Management My problem is two-folds, it appears that Century Property Management does mine receiving rent for years (on-time), put does not have any compassion in this situation I recently received a notice requesting November rent as if they were not I no longer have a job and also because we have moved from Kentucky

I would have to disagree that we were deceptive to the customer which filed this complaintOur policy is, and has been, that you may lease a property without viewing it, but we strongly urge you
to view the home firstThe attached form clearly states that we urge you to view the property before submitting an applicationHowever, if you choose to apply and later change your mind, you will forfeit your depositOur policies are clearly outlined on our applications, lease without viewing forms, and all other material used for the leasing process
The home was ready as of September 22, 2014, and the customer was notified that she could view the home before finalizing her choiceShe has chosen not to view the home, and states she is no longer interested in renting with usThis will result in forfeiture of her deposit

I was told by both tenants, staying and moving that mice and roaches are and have been a problem that Century would not correct without a 75.00 fee. Century told me that this fee was only if the tenant caused the damage and not automatic. The tenants told me it was automatic. The virtual tour is not accurate. They show this so you will put deposit down without actual sight seen. Why else have it? They did not advise me not to sign the sight unseen contract, if anything the opposite. The girls told me that if I did not put down the deposit, someone else could and I would loose chance to get the apartment. I currently rent from a company called [redacted] and was told by staff they would have told me about the roach problem told by past leasers.  Are consumers not the voice. I have been a victim of deceptive business practices. I did tell Century that I was not going to sign that contract. I will not go back to that office because I left in tears in August when I was told you can't get your deposit back. What happened to a good reputation and good business practices? At least fair. I am not ignorant, and I do not appreciate Century Property Managements attitude toward coaxing and denying the fact of deception. Yes, their sight unseen contract states no refund for Any reason. But lets be real, they did not have the apartment ready when They said they would. All that means is an individual is just giving them money for nothing. I do feel silly for giving them the deposit for believing in the virtual tour and thinking that decent business practices would apply. I was wrong. It is just money and yes I need it as well as anyone, but I wonder is this practice even legal? I know what I was led to believe by the Century staff and I know that is not the facts.
