I was a former customer who had purchased flooring and used the carpet cleaning service In the past when we had an issue with the carpet, they were responsive and came out and corrected the issue quickly and professionally I really didn't shop around or do any research when we needed carpet and tile cleaned in our newer home I saw a commercial for them and remembered our satisfaction with previous service The initial carpet cleaning was done by Shon who was very polite and nice and overall did an excellent job He did miss a few spots in the carpet in one room but I would have let that pass and done those myself if I didn't need to call about the tile Initially, I truly felt like he had done so many rooms that perhaps he didn't have the energy and strength to do as great a job on the tile/grout I called and talked with Jason who said they would come back out and take care of the issues Unfortunately, I wasn't able to be home when Jason came but my mother came to meet him instead He called me about minutes after he was scheduled to arrive at my house and then arrived at my house about minutes later He was only there about minutes to re-clean carpet in a large room and to re-clean the grout in two larger rooms and a smaller bathroom I called him almost immediately because I was concerned that he did not do all the areas we discussed He stated he did and that I should call him back on Monday since it was close to 5:on a Friday After the tile dried, I noticed again that the grout was not clean I called Jason back on Monday and explained what my issues were He was very unprofessional and nasty He basically tried to create an argument regarding the poor job that had been done cleaning the grout He brought up that my tile was obviously not professionally done, that I expected it to look better that it probably ever had, that he knew their cleaning had at least improved it by 85%, and that my expectations were too unrealistic I told him that he was being very rude and insulting and that I would have appreciated being told upfront that they would only be able to do an "85%" job so I could have made a different decision on who would clean my floors In the end he agreed to come out "one more time" and re-clean the entire tile (which is what I was told would be done on the 2nd visit) but I should probably just accept that my grout may just be stained Though, I had reservations, I called to schedule another cleaning while I was off recuperating from surgery Jason came back today He was not interested in discussing the areas I had concerns about and stated that he would just "steam clean" all the tile and grout After cleaning in the kitchen for about minutes, he spent about minutes standing on my deck talking on his cell phone He came back in for about another minutes and then left without communicating that he was leaving I went outside to find the truck gone, my back door open and unlocked, and the side view mirror on my car loose Since he choose not to communicate with me before he left or call me after he left, I decided I would not call him either and chose instead to put my dissatisfaction in writing Though my floors have not dried at this point and I don't know if he actually did a better job cleaning the grout this time, Jason has convinced me to never use Carpet Spectrum again
