Consider making this shop your, all car care shop This franchise is run by Tena , she is honest and for an oil change they do a ''complete'' check all fluids and air filterMost shops now just change oil and filter I explained to Tena a shop I had taken my truck to since new in caused me to lose my front skid plate which covered the oil filter and was removed at each oil change When the screws were striped they just put in the screws that remained so my 2x ft skid plate fell off on the highway I told them the owner got angry and said not their fault Tena said they would have put in new screws Tina also checked the under body for any problems and told and showed me My old shop of years said nothing about anything just let all break down on the road So I say again give Tena the chance to convince you her shop is Great

For several months my cars RPMs had been racing off and on (more so on) and shop after shop fixed everything under the sun however, not my RPM issue. I would bring it back claiming it was still doing it They would leave me with the explanation of "That's your transmission, you need a new transmission". I saw the Aamco on line and called. They had my car towed after hours and diagnosed it first thing Monday morning. NOT my transmission at all. $350 later instead of $3000. They were a life saver. I have my car back and didn't have to apply for a loan. Thank you Aamco.

Consider making this shop your, all car care shop. This franchise is run by Tena , she is honest and for an oil change they do a ''complete'' check all fluids and air filter. Most shops now just change oil and filter. I explained to Tena a shop I had taken my truck to since new in 2000 caused me to lose my front skid plate which covered the oil filter and was removed at each oil change. When the screws were striped they just put in the screws that remained so my 2x 3 ft skid plate fell off on the highway . I told them the owner got angry and said not their fault. Tena said they would have put in new screws. Tina also checked the under body for any problems and told and showed me. My old shop of 20 years said nothing about anything just let all break down on the road. So I say again give Tena the chance to convince you her shop is Great.

I brought my vehicle to Aamco Transmissions in Manchester, NH on December 28th, 2016 due to inconsistent shifting. They told me the transmission was fine but that it was low on trans fluid and needed axles. I authorized the work for $650. I received a phone call from Dave A[redacted] on December 30th, stating that they were unable to get my axle out and needed to pull my transmission for an additional $950 ($1600 total.) I was shocked but trusted them and authorized the work. They also said they could replace an engine mount at no additional labor costs because everything was already out of the vehicle and it would be easily accessible. I reached out to them on January 3rd, because I hadn't heard from them. They informed me that my transmission was out of my vehicle and had been sent to North Attleboro, Ma, without my consent, because they were unable to remove my axle from the transmission. This is when I started to worry and question Aamco's motives. The following week I received a call informing me that I had a "cracked transmission case" and that it would be an additional $1100 to replace it. I questioned if this "crack" was pre-existing and if so why was it was not noticed in the weeks prior? They were adamant that the crack was pre-existing. Now my bill was up to $2700 and my transmission was not only apart, but was in a different state - therefore I was unable to pick up my vehicle and bring it to another mechanic. Frustrated, I continued to call and check on my vehicle every few days for the next 3 weeks and no progress had been made. I was beginning to hear many excuses such as, they ordered the wrong parts and that my " 06 Honda Ridgeline is a rare vehicle and difficult to find parts for." Finally, after 3-1/2 weeks of this I went to Aamco to speak directly with the owner, Dave. He was not there so I began to speak with the person at the counter. When I asked what was going on with my vehicle, he informed me they were waiting for a solenoid for my engine (a part that I was not even aware that I needed) and once they received it my truck would be ready to go. At this time, I asked for my transmission case and requested to have all my used parts once the truck was done. I was shown my transmission case and noticed severe marring, pry marks, and gouging. I pointed out that the damage on my case was definitely man made damage and was not a "pre-existing crack." The employees agreed with me. It is at this time that the owner Dave walked in and went and sat in his office. The employee informed the owner that I would like to speak with him. I waited for 5 minutes or so and he never came out of his office. I brought my trans case into his office and voiced my concerns with Aamco, my vehicle and the manmade damage on the trans case. He then tried to tell me that the damage had to be done in order to get my axle out of the case. At this point I was frustrated and felt completely taken advantage of, however, Dave promised that my truck could be picked up by the end of that day. The end of the day came and still no phone call. I went into Aamco again 2 days later to see why my truck was STILL not ready. The person at the front desk informed me that the solenoid was in the truck but now the truck was shaking and they could not figure out why. He said they ordered the wrong axles and were now waiting for the right axles to come in. Completely frustrated, I left again without my vehicle. On January 23rd, 2 days short of a month, I received a call that my truck was done. When I went to pick it up, Dave A[redacted]'s exchange with me was the most UNPROFESSIONAL and HOSTILE I have ever had with someone in business in my life. When I voiced all my concerns with the work, price, and the whole experience he began to swear at me, told me to get out of his shop, and said he refused to be a** raped by a clown. When I asked if there was anything he could do about the price given my inconvenience, he said he would take $100 off the price and that I was getting a "smoking deal" and that I should be "buying him beers." I remained polite and asked if he could show me all the work they did and he told me to go look at it myself and that he didn't need to look at it. I asked about my engine mount and also asked for the old one. He could not locate it and then informed me that they never actually put it in - BUT IT WAS ON THE INVOICE! He tried to charge me for parts and work that was not even done! I told him these are the reasons I did not trust him or Aamco. He tried to change the story about the trans case, stating the axle caused the damage, not his mechanics and I had to pay for it. After an hour of him yelling, swearing, and making excuses he still refused to remove the charges for the trans case - the case that his mechanics broke and did not have a pre-existing crack. DO NOT GO TO AAMCO!!! DAVE A[redacted] IS CORRUPT, LACKS INTEGRITY AND TAKES ADVANTAGE OF CUSTOMERS!!!
