I am responding to your recent letter regarding the complaint filed by Mr [redacted] against Century Warranty Services, Inc(“CWS”) I have carefully reviewed the details of his claim and vehicle service contract coverageMr [redacted] ’s vehicle service contract agrees to pay for failure of a Covered Part due to faulty workmanship or materials supplied by the original vehicle manufacturer or, in certain instances, wear and tear Such repairs are subject to the terms, conditions and limitations as set forth by the vehicle service contract Mr [redacted] ’s claim was reported to CWS on March 5, At the time, an inspection was performed on the vehicle to determine the cause of the problem The inspection revealed that the left and right inner axle boots were torn, the water pump was actively leaking and there was a technical service bulletin for the drive shaft Upon receipt of the inspection report, the shop was called and the parts requested were authorized pursuant to the inspection; except for the axle which was denied as a result of the CV boots being torn and contaminated The denial was explained to Mr [redacted] A second inspection was set up pursuant to Mr [redacted] ’s request However, the second inspection was never performed due to the fact that Mr [redacted] removed the vehicle from the repair facility However, the repair shop did advise that the axles were replaced and paid by Mr [redacted] Upon receipt of your correspondence, CWS re-evaluated this matter and has agreed, as a matter of customer goodwill, to cover the axle as if it was covered under the terms and conditions of Mr [redacted] ’s contract Please be advised that this is a one-time exception on this specific claim only and does not apply to other present or future services or claims whatsoever CWS is not setting precedence with the approval of this one claim only and any future claims are subject to the terms, agreements, conditions and exclusions of your contract Therefore, we are requesting that Mr [redacted] forward to CWS a copy of paid repair receipt regarding the replacement of the axle in his vehicle We trust that this matter will be resolved to Mr [redacted] ’s satisfaction as CWS values him as a customer Should you have any questions, please feel free to contact me Sincerely, [redacted] Sr Paralegal

I am responding to your letter regarding the complaint filed by Mr [redacted] , regarding his request to cancel the above referenced service contract with Century Warranty Services, Inc (“CWS”) According to the information in our system, Mr [redacted] ’s service contract was purchased on January 23, On February 17, 2015, CWS was contacted by Mr [redacted] for the cancellation of his service contract At that time, he was advised to contact [redacted] Inc(APC) regarding the cancellation of the contract The contract was cancelled on March 6, 2015, with an effective date of January 23, At that point, a letter was forwarded to Mr [redacted] from APC indicating that a chargeback of $was rendered back to his account; in order to refund him for the previous payment amounts which were deducted Thus, there is no additional refund to be provided regarding this matter We hope this has answered all of Mr [redacted] ’s questions regarding this matter Should he have any additional questions, he may contact me at ###-###-#### Sincerely, [redacted] Sr Paralegal
