DON'T USE NATIONAL TRAVEL ASSOCIATION L.L.C On 4/20/15, I received an UNSOLICITED call from them I'm not sure how they got my phone number When they called they mentioned that they had spoken to my manager (used his name specifically) and my manager had mentioned that rooms were needed for a trade show conference They instilled a fear factor and stated that rooms were going fast and they didn't even know if any remainedI booked the rooms based on the information they provided and the fear that none would be available The National Travel Association misrepresented who they were They gave the impression that they were affiliated with the event; giving the appearance that it was the actual organizer contacting me Within hours, I cancelled the reservation They stated that a 25% cancellation fee would apply and that the costs of the reservations would not be refunded but credited to an accountALTHOUGH, they did state on the contract that this could be waived

DO NOT WAIST YOUR TIME WITH NATIONAL TRAVEL ASSOCIATES LLC I booked rooms for [redacted] Las Vegas trade show and I had the worst experience of my life NTA called my office (I don't know where they got my contact) and told me that I should reserve the rooms for [redacted] show through NTA because I get exactly the same quality of service that hotel reservation provides except that it will be less expensive through NTA I told them 1- through hotel reservation I can cancel at any time until a few days before the chedate without any penalty, 2- through [redacted] reservation I can ask for strip view and higher floors, 3- [redacted] gives you guaranteed double queen roomThe sales rep said they can do all for me, just sign the contract and pay Two months before the show when the hotel was sold out I realized that they have booked king rooms, not high floors and not strip view, and that I can't cancel with NTA at all or there is 25% cancellation fee

This is the worst service and experience I've had with hotel accomodations
This abuses any type of consumer that is desperate to find a hotel, this is supposed to be an assistance to find the best reservation and price, not the other way around
Lack of information, high costs, bad hotels, bad service

We use National Travel Associates to book our hotel reservations when we travel for business The hotels they recommend are always what we are looking for We highly recommend using National Travel for your travel needs

I booked rooms through National Travel Associates for an upcoming tradeshow in Las Vegas
The only positive thing I can say about the transaction is that the rooms were cheap and they made the reservationsThe run around and terrible customer service following my transaction made the cheap rooms not worth the trouble and extreme aggravation
I was told IN WRITING that they would only charge night for each room to hold the reservationI booked rooms and they charged the entire amount, $to my boss's credit cardI called immediately upon seeing the receipt and of course the sales person (James Y***) was never available to discuss the "bait and switch"I tried to reach him all week and was told he was in meetings or at lunch (at pm!)I spoke to a manager who told me they opened a case and that since it was in writing they should honor the one night charge although it is their policy to charge the full amount at the time of the transactionThey told me I'd hear back from them in hours, it's now been a full month and this is still not resolvedI have called well over times and am told the case is still being investigated
I decided I wanted a refund but they charge 25% which in my case would be $and too much to loseSo I decided to keep the reservation but I need to make changes, which they say are free up to days before the booked stayI have called multiple times, left voicemails and have sent several e-mails regarding adding additional days and a room upgrade to my reservationThey NEVER get back to meI imagine they will wait until after the days are up so that they can collect a fee
National Travel Associates LLC has horrendous customer service, they are ludicrously unresponsive and will not work with you AT ALL after the initial transactionDO NOT BOOK WITH THIS COMPANY!!! THEY ARE A SCAM!

Your agent Joy [redacted] was excellent! Not only did she find a flight plan when I wanted it, she arranged a flight plan for my cousin. She managed to get the same flight for us from New York to Denver. She also arranged for our seats to be together. Polite, efficient, respectful, and reassuring. She is the kind of employee your company should keep!

Do not use National Travel Associates to book your travel! They will gouge you at every turn. We made reservations for a hotel 5 months in advance, and they charged the full amount plus a $350 fee. When we realized the charges had already been made, we called the hotel and found out we could make reservations ourselves and no payment was required in advance. They had a 24 hour cancellation policy. We did not want to float this much money for 5 months, so we called to cancel with National Travel Associates.
The contract stated you could cancel with no fee prior to 25 days. But, no, there is further fine print that states that you pay a 25% penalty to cancel. You also do not get your money back!!! You only get a credit with them, and if you don't use the credit in 180 days, they keep all your money!!!! Do not use this service.
