I would recommend Certa Pro Painting to anyone in need of the most top quality painters Their creativity and technical competence was always available and valuable The work was addressed in a timely, professional manner, with completion and clean up on time Their estimates and costs are always fair and reasonable I would not consider using any other painter for exterior or interior work and could recommend Ed’s work quality and work ethics with no reservation

I am rejecting this response because:  It is not surprising that it took Ed V[redacted] almost one month to respond to my initial complaint siting computer problems.  It is 2017 and he is running a business and when a customer files a complaint with the Revdex.com having a response time that is almost one month is irresponsible, however this appears to be his modus operandi.  Unfortunately, the lack of respect and lack of response to the customer is an ongoing problem.  On 9/21/2017 I did provide payment but it was not without severe hesitation and lack of response from Ed, fear his employee would not be paid as was threatened to him multiple times, and I believe I should not have been charged any additional money since it took almost five months for this company to fix and finish the work on my home. It was agreed that the deck would not be part of the contract because they could not figure out how to appropriately apply the stain.  I was able to stain the deck on my own and will provide pictures to the Revdex.com if requested with before, after and receipt of supplies purchased for the project. Ed then states that there were 7-8 walk through with the customer and items were added to the punch list.  I believe this was done because even ED could not believe that his people did such a lousy job.  He did take photographs for items that were not done properly and tried to charge me additional money to have those things completed.  Ultimately, the last painter sent to my house fixed all of those items in less than 12 hours - surprising since they had been at my house for months.  As far as the AC condenser - it was working fine until their painters showed up to my house and then surprise surprise it no longer was working - there is no paint stain on my condenser - please feel free to come look at it.  Ed would make you believe that I worked full weeks every other week when in reality I work every other Friday Saturday Sunday and Monday having 12 days off in between each work schedule.  I will provide copies of schedules to the Revdex.com if requested.  We did need to do frequent walk throughs which were done with the 'carpenter' and things were constantly added because we continued to find things that were not completed - such as lack of paint on the house - Ed did try multiple times to get me to pay for the additional items found on the other walk throughs.  Ultimately, I made over 15 calls to the main Certa Pro and was told by Ed that that's not how things work.  This was a miserable experience and finally the main Certa Pro sent a REAL painter to my house that had all punch items completed in less than two days!!  the carpenter had been working on those for weeks.  The real painter also noticed other items that I had not and fixed those as well because they should have been done.  Ultimately, the only reason I paid them was because I was ensured by Certa Pro that Ed was going to be removed and that he would not be allowed to do this to any other customer.  Also I was afraid his contractor was not going to be paid - while this is not my problem he is a nice man.  Ed did nothing to make me happy and even his employee Starr told me multiple times that I was a very patient person as I was trying to handle things in the best way possible.  I'm not sure what else to say except that I hope you see his lack of response for almost one month is the same lack of response his customers receive on a regular basis.  I hope Certa Pro was being honest when they told me that Ed needed to be removed from the company.  The last painter was the only real painter sent to my home and if he was sent in June we would not be here.  Once there was an issue Ed should have sent another crew over to fix it.  I wasn't being unreasonable - infact, I was very patient - more than patient with the process.  It should not have taken months for a one week process and I should not have been so disappointed.

Certa Pro did a FANTASTIC job on my home. They were thorough and professional. I will definitely have them back for more work on my home!

10-12-2017 and think it’s because our system blocked the email with the attachment.   It’s unfortunate that it took a while to complete the paint and carpentry work.  The work was finally completed on 9-21-2017 and we received a check for the remaining balance less the cost of the deck and $500 for goodwill. We decided not to perform the work on the deck as we agreed that we could not meet the customers’ expectations and reduced the cost by $1,200 to account for that work not to be done.  The work involved matching a stain which was applied almost a year ago on the edge of the deck. During the time frame we had 7 to 8 walk-throughs with the customer and items were added to the punch list each time.  I personally walked the property with the customer on the 4th walk-throgh and had her sign and initial about 12 photographs which were determined to be the final items to be repaired.  Unfortunately, 3 or 4 additional walk-through's were done in the spirit of making the customer happy.   There was a discussion that we could have caused one of 3 exterior AC Condenser units to fail by placing a drop cloth on it but we were able to show a drop of new paint on the broken unit.   The walk-through's had to be done every other week as the customer works one week and is off the next, thus 16 weeks.  In addition, my carpenter was delayed 10 days to return from vacation due to several hurricanes which further delayed our response as well.   We fired the crew that started the job and didn’t have a record of the sheen for white trim given how fast things happened. We used a [redacted] most common for exterior but [redacted] was used originally, that problem was taken care of quickly.
