Review: This company was an absolute nightmare to work with. Their customer service was horrible, took them 9 days to complete the job when they promised it would take 4, and they got paint all over our carpet in numerous places, especially on our stairs. They are blaming our homebuilder, but there was no paint there prior to the painters entering our home. They also got paint on my sons mattress and did not clean it off either. They have done nothing to fix the situation. They claim they finished the job, but they did not. There are touch up areas that need to be fixed. The job was not completed to our satisfaction.Desired Settlement: We would like a discount from the contracted $2900 amount for the damages to our carpet and because the job was NOT completed to our satisfaction. Plus they took 5 days longer then they agreed to which delayed our move into our new home.
It was a nightmare, starting with the customer deciding to change colors after 2 days worth of painting and then adding an additional days worth of work while expecting our painters to work Saturday and Sunday, which we try to avoid. After all, they have families that they would like to spend time with. It never occurred to us that it would be necessary to explain to them that it would take longer than the original 4 days due to the changes the they made. An independent inspection was done and 1 very small drop of white paint on 1 stair, a color we did not use, and 2 small areas that needed a touch up along the stairs. Instead of allowing us 15 minutes to take care of the touch ups, the customer threatened to bash us on the internet if we didn't give them a discount that amounted to over 50% of the job. We declined. To date, they still have not paid the full amount and we don't expect that they ever will.
