I inspected his claim of the peeling paint on the ceiling The peeling is on the ceiling of the shower area and extends out from there The walls of the entire bathroom from the ceiling to about feet from the floor are streaked with water stains that look like water is running down the walls It is evident that the shower is being used without using the exhaust fan or the fan was not working for some period of time When I mentioned this he did not deny it or that excessively long or very hot water are being used in order to create a sauna effect in the bathroom

walls.  It is evident that the shower is being used without using the exhaust fan or the fan was not working for some period of time.  When I mentioned this he did not deny it or that excessively long or very hot water are being used in order to create a sauna effect in the bathroom.

We did paint the entire ceiling.  In all the homes I have been in I have NEVER seen water streaks ont he walls as bad as I saw in this house.  I had offered to fix the issue he is having at a discounted rate but he has not accepted it.

 First of all, [redacted] is making the water issue sound really bad. If that was the case, the walls would have been destroyed by now. But the walls are perfectly fine. The ceiling was fine too, before CertaPro re-painted it. Secondly, the area that is peeling now, is exactly the same area that was fixed by [redacted] (CertaPro employee) back in Jan '14. CertaPro needs to stop arguing and accept responsibility. Lastly $300 to fix just the ceiling is not a discounted price. [redacted] - you had quoted $450 to repaint both the ceiling AND the walls. It is common sense that the walls have more area, and require more effort to work around corners and small sections. How is it $300 for just the ceiling ?

 Our shower usage has not changed since 2007. Plus we always have the exhaust fan on. We never had peeling from 2007 till 2013. The peeling only started AFTER CertaPro painted the ceiling in 2013 and only on the section repainted by CertaPro. The entire ceiling was not painted by CertaPro. It was only a small section above and around the shower where [redacted] thought we had a small mold area. It is only the CertaPro painted area that has the peeling issue.
