CertaPro Painters of Winston-Salem was wonderful to work with. They provides good customer service and communication throughout the process, from scheduling the estimate right up to the completion of the project. I am very satisfied and will recommend them without hesitation.
Certa Pro is not what they proclaim to be. They removed popcorn from a large area in my house. The results were horrible. Even Chris the owner agreed. He said he would repair to my satisfaction. His crews attempted to repair. They made it much worse. One crew did not even cover the furniture long enough for the dust to settle and much more than normal dust was everywhere. They didn’t even cover the newly painted trim and got mudd all over the trim. Not to mention the entire ceiling. It is very wavey, thinly painted with mudd spots in several areas of the ceiling. Needless to say Chris did not repair to my satisfaction. I wrote a review on his website. It does not exist on the site now. It was removed. I would not recommend this company to anyone. They use cheap material. Chris is a liar. He word is worthless. He and his crews are incompetent. I have to look at his poor work everyday
We originally did Ms. work in Feb of 2016. The removal of the popcorn texture was difficult because of the previous coatings on the texture. We worked hard to give her a good result. When we were finished on 2/6/16, she gave us a review where she stated (I quote) “painters worked very hard at doing an excellent job on a difficult job. Cleaned up really good. All three men were very polite, kind, considerate personable & hard working. They all had attention for detail and actually cared about the way I felt about the project. Chris & Alex have very good communication skills, went out of way to make sure I was informed on the progress of job and my satisfaction of the job” End quote. She gave us 5/5 for the review on 2/6/16. This document is available for viewing at our office.
I received a call from Ms. during the summer/fall of 2017. She said she was not happy with the way the ceilings looked. I visited her and told her we did not want unhappy customers and would see if we could make the ceilings look better.
After 2 separate crews recoating (full coat of drywall mud, full prime and two coats of paint each time) the ceiling 2 times each, she was still not happy. I informed her that this was the best we could do with her ceilings.
I am sorry that she is unhappy, but do not know how to make her happy. I am not sure what happened between Feb 2016 and now.
As for her personal attacks on me, I chose not to respond to them.
