I registered for SY0-class with CertFirst thinking they would have a location in Reston,VA, but they didn't have anyone locally, but they assigned someone remotely and used [redacted] to do the coachingIt was $course for days with full hoursThe Person at the Remote location scheduled and took only about hours approximately for first day and second day, and he said he has to go on an emergency on third day he assigned someone else to teach, but he was not proficient enough , b/c of that I failed on Security+ , I was trying to reach them and email them, but not reachable at this time, Please stay away from these guys , I hope [redacted] should remove their affiliation

I am rejecting this response because: they are lying I never asked for free training I have paid at first day please let me know if you want all our email conversations, they did not provide training as they promised and also according to contract they were supposed to pay for 2nd exam, when I went there for exam he used bad words for me, and he was trying to take my credit card I left there office right away.

-We also provide candidates assistance to receive funding through WIA if the candidate meets their minimum criteria and CertFirst has no control over the WIA fundingWe have successfully trained many qualified students from WIA and references can be provided
-We also assist and help candidates (veterans, unemployed candidates, or recent graduates) who can't get any sort of WIA or federal funding and just can't even afford to pay anything for the training tuition by offering them FREE internal developed on-demand/on-line programs so they can take the next stepsAs of now we have packages for CompTIA Security+ and Biometrics (CBSE) that usually sells for thousands of dollars to corporations and as well as to GovtagenciesCandidates who wants to gain knowledge in these domains and give themselves an edge in this tough job market place is why we help thee candidates y delivering free training
-CertFirst never ever promises any candidate for 100% job Placement regardless they are candidates getting free on-line training and candidates paying thousands of dollarsWe provide complimentary job placement assistance to qualified WIA students and as well as to candidates who complete our programsWe help candidates for free with resume preparation, guiding these candidates where to apply for jobs, etc
BASIC FACTS ABOUT ***'S COMPLAINT:
-We agree with most of the stuff Mr*** has written but job placement guarantee was never promised and we never doWe only provide job placement assistance such as resume workshop, etcto our WIA students who pay about $8000+ FOR THE TRAINING PROGRAMS
As Mr*** has acknowledged in his complaint that he has initially contacted us for WIA training and in short he never qualified for the funding for whatever the reasons were given to himWIA office never disclosed the reasoning why he did not get funding and we have nothing to do with that as we are just one of their Authorized Training ProvidersThe WIA office Mr*** worked with is far away from our Oak brook training center and we have never ever received a single voucher from that office till today and have never worked with any case managers or counselors till Mr*** contacted usOur Account Manager Mr*** *** still worked with Mr*** to see if he could get the funding for the Linux/Network Administration course he wanted to take with CertFirst
This program contains several modules including CompTIA Security+ and Biometrics (CBSE)When Mr*** informed us that he did not receive the WIA funding for the program, According to Mr*** ***, Mr*** really wanted to attend the program and had no source to pay for the tuition
He told *** that he wants to enter into the IT industry and needs help with the scholarship and *** asked him to apply for scholarship (please see the scholarship application) and where Mr*** have acknowledged he is new to the industry even though have some basic computer experience and have absolutely no certifications
Since we have had our own on-demand/on-line training packages and Mr*** had absolutely no tuition money; CertFirst offered him both CompTIA Security+ and as well as Biometrics (CBSE) on-demand training plus exam prep tools for freeMr***'s responsibility was to pay for his own certification examsWhere Mr*** purchased one CBSE exam voucher that he had successfully passed ** after completing the on-demand trainingI am not sure if he took the CompTIA Security+ exam or not as he supposed to go through CompTIA/Pearson VUE to purchase that voucher
I think Mr*** expectations to land him a job right after his free on-line training from CertFirst is totally unacceptableIf he needs any assistance with his resume, please feel free to contact us and setup a meeting and we will be happy to assist him for free as wellOnce again, our account Manager *** who helped Mr*** with this process is very disappointed as he believes that he spent hours and hours of his time working with him and WIA office to see if he could get funding but he did notFinally providing him with free training, exam prep tools and in return he receives is a complaint is totally unacceptable
Yes, we do provide Job placement assistance to all our WIA candidates with resume workshop, forwarding their resumes to prospective companies since they have completed the program and we have received payment for such servicesWe have limitations on how much we can offer for free as a small company
Resolution & Just Facts:
-First of all Mr*** was never promised any job, if we did then please provide the documentation and facts
-If he paid any tuition for CompTIA security+, Biometrics (CBSE) and exam prep tools then we would have glad to provide him refund on the sameHe paid only for one certification exam voucher that he successfully passed *** got his certification number and if he passed *** Security+ then should have received one from CompTIA
It's like going to a college to become an Engineer or Doctor and then expect the college to find you a jobIt is just NOT right
-In spite of all that, we are still willing to meet Mr*** and help him with his resume and guide him accordingly at no chargePlease have him contact us at ***@certfirst.com and we will work as much as possible to assist him

The claim is not "baseless", and I deeply resent the characterization here
It is a very simple matter - I was promised assistance at job placement, and I did not receive itThe company instead decided to deny its own promises made through its representative, and slander me for suggesting otherwise
I intend to take up the matter with the folks at WIAI am very angry after seeing the things that had been said about me in early 2014, and very angry at not getting a chance to respond to themI would still like that chance

First of all this case was closed and resolved on 02/25/according to Revdex.com letterThere is a huge gap in the responseOnce again I really think Mr*** is wasting our time by making wrongful claimsIf the delay in his response is due to he was arrested and was in jail, that should not be our fault
This case should not be reopen
Our response to his complaint remains the same as we did earlierSince he received the on-demand training services including exam prep tools, etcfor free (with scholarship) and has most probably paid for CompTIA Security+ and Biometrics exam fees for certificationsWe can not help in getting refund on that since he has taken the exam and even passed *** of themAlso, Mr*** is most welcome to send his resume and we will glad to provide him job placement assistance but we do not control the employers if they want to hire him or notWe provide placement assistance but don't guarantee employment and we don't charge candidates for that service eitherWe are also willing to assist him with resume workshop at no extra fees
Again all his claims are baseless and I may understand his frustration due to unemployment but we can not force companies to hire someone if they don't want toOnce again, he can come and meet and/or speak with some of our clients who we have already assisted in employment and Internship programs (even though we don't have to as we don't get pay for that) before accusing a company which has successfully served hundreds of companies and individuals during the past 10+ years
Once again, I wish Mr*** nothing but best with him employment search

Good Morning: Thank you for the email in respect to complaint # [redacted] CertFirst team and partners faced wrongful accusations and harassment from this client. We had to work with the legal council as our business is the victim of her wrongful statements and allegations. She has malicious...

intent against our business and her initial intent from day one was to receive free training services from us. We sincerely regret providing her 1 on 1 training services by an Authorized EC-Council Instructor. Since past 2005 we have served thousands of clients and take every client seriously and work closely with each one of them to make sure they are totally satisfied with our services. We all know negatives reviews are bad enough, but if they are not true, it's specially frustrating. They have the potential to damage your reputation, even when you have done nothing to earn them.   We has mailed Revdex.com the facts regarding this complaint and also will try and fax the same within 24 hours. Since we have wasted so much time and resources with this client and our partner trying to resolve this issue and her non stop baseless claims, demands,  new accusations every week has made this to be a very upsetting issue and based on her demand have mutually agreed to issue her the tuition fee refund of $1050 (Exam retake is only $500 which she initially demanded for) to put a closure to her complaint. Just to keep in mind we have provided her services in full and her training reviews were above average and she never complained about the training till she failed the exam. I have completed the evaluation as requested and am waiting for the item to arrive. One question still remains:
If the post-training evaluation was a prerequisite to shipping the promised item, why do I have several emails telling me the item either *was* going to ship OR had *already* shipped BEFORE my training even began?
