I registered for a BLS CPR and first aid course offered by this organization via the American Red CrossThe course was scheduled for April 14thOn Thursday evening, April12th, I received a cancellation email due to low enrollmentI emailed the business requesting a refund and received the following response: "We don’t give refunds for cancelling as per our terms and conditions." However the terms and conditions read as following: "Registration & Refund PolicyFor all classes, you are entitled to a partial refund in the event you cancel your enrollment at least hours before the course starts.You will receive the course fee back minus $for CPR courses..." However in the response email I received from the organization regarding my request for a refund, I received a reply with the following disclaimer: "Classroom/Web Based CourseCancellations- When a customer cancels their program there is a non-negotiable $cancellation fee for all CPR/AED basic level courses and in-serv

The above customer was given a partial refund of $dollars since I agreed with the customer that she did not have hours to cancelHowever, the customer waited until days before the class , and did not diligently read the terms and conditions in which she signedThe customer did not like the
facts presented over emails from our billing department, or choose to work with us with the options that we providedAttached to our response include a highlighted version which go over our cancellation fees and our refund policy, a copy of the partial refund emailed to the customer, and a copy of the cancellation email that states if she transferred to another class she would not have to pay anything additionalWe have plenty of classes scheduled for the next months and could have provided her a classUnfortunately, other customers cancel for personal treasons that can not be shared with other customers without violating HIPPA lawsOur response is final and she will not be refunded anymore fundsWe suggest that the customer reads through other businesse’s terms and conditions before agreeing to make payment for any serviceOur engineers can prove that this document was sent to her before making paymentOur policies are also posted on our website 24/We wish this customer the best in their future endeavors.?
