Needed a dishwasher repair. Repairman called and came early. He listened to problems, started it, and turned to his phone to look up a part number. He then said the part was no longer available and I needed to buy new (current 1 only 2 years old). He recommended I buy through Sears, either a Sears or Whirlpool because Samsung and others "got parts from everywhere." I called Samsung, referred to J&J International their parts provider who told me the part is certainly still available. I called the repairman who then told me his CAS has a contract with Sears for all their parts so if I manage to find a part, they will install. So, $30 later, I've been urged to purchase a new machine from Sears because CAS only does parts business with Sears and another company (Mid-South, I think he said.) So much for their advertising and service.
