Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:They only wanted to help after I told them I was taking them to court. Before they made excuses as to why the cruise control was not working. Sincerely, [redacted] ***

*** *** had purchased aftermarket kits, one was for automatic headlights and the other for fog lightsAfter spending sometime looking at the automatic headlight kit it was determined that it was not compatible for installation in her carWe were able to install the fog lightsDuring the
process of looking at the auto headlight kit we did test to find power and ground in system but never broke any connection nor did we probe with with power so there was no power applied to system that could have back fed the system and burnt any wires as the dealership had saidThe dealership had also written up an estimate that was given to *** that had said we damaged the ECM (computer) and harnessMy service Manager Ben T*** went to dealership and spoke to technician and service advisor and also was able to take pictures with *** present as well and they said with my service manager present that they were unsure if the ECM and harness was even the issueLong story short all they really found was a burnt terminal on a connector and although we know that we could not have caused this we did offer *** to fix problem just because we strive to make all of our customers happyWe have never been accused of anything like this in the past and we will be defending ourselves in court if this is what happensWe are still willing to help *** at this point but we will not be paying the money to the dealership as they did not determine the problem with her cruise control and we did nothing wrong in this situation

Review: I took my truck in to Certified Automotive Repair/in Ventura,CA.,for a simple problem that needed to be fixed to pass smog. Not only did the owner know where I stood with what low income I do have, I still ended up with a high set price of $985.00. A day later he works on something else and then told me that the set price has changed. Now I owed him $1321.00Desired Settlement: I want this business owner to be liable for the extra money that I've been putting out everyday and still putting out with out my truck. That not only is he charging me a high quote of $985.00 and but working on additional problems to my truck without my authoration and then holding my truck hostage until I pay in full of what he is now asking for,the new set price $1321.My truck went in on the 8th of October,2015.Since then I have been in a car rental, since the 8th of October 2015,
