This business is a complete scam. Mr. Levy markets himself to integrative doctors at conferences and then prays on sick people. I had him come to my home upon the recommendation of a doctor. He came in and noted several items that should be repaired. Keep in mind I live in a home that has been completely remodeled in the past four years. After his visit, I had several contractors through the house and began doing my own research. When I started to doubt Mr. Levy, I hired another consultant and spoke with the doctor. I came to learn that I was not her only patient who had issues with his testing and that the results of the tests were inaccurate. He falsified the outdoor air quality test at my home to make the indoor tests seem more elevated as well as telling me I needed two outdoor air quality tests which I later found out was completely unnecessary. Additionally, he charged double the lab cost of each test as well as charging a service fee. Please find a reputable air quality consultant. They will charge you a service fee but only pass along the lab cost of the testing. When I spoke to Mr. Levy today, he said he would return my money and then he called me later and said he had changed his mind and he became quite nasty.
I have a potential mold issue in my apartment which landlord is not addressing. I contacted Certified Mold Inspectors and spoke with Steve, the owner. Steve spent over 45 minutes on the phone with me explsining about molds and what to look for. Steve also suggested a more inexpensive alternative than his services. He spent all this time with me and didn't make 1 penny from me. He was friendly, informative and has a wealth of knowledge with regards to mold. If I need to take furtger action regarding mold testing, I will most certainly give Certified Mold Inspectors my business!
