We have researched this matter and to the best of our knowledge there is not a law in New York State that prohibits reporting medical debts. The Affordable Care Act is a Federal Law and it does not prohibit reporting medical debts. However, in an attempt to satisfy this complaint, we
will advise the credit bureaus to delete her account

On 5/29/we submitted requests on accounts to the credit bureaus online via *** to delete the accounts from complainant's credit record

The consumer has every right to communicate directly with the hospitals or creditors who referred her to collections.? We will agree to stop communicating with her regarding any accounts already placed with us for collection.? If new accounts are placed later, that would initiate another
communication.? We are a reputable business founded years ago.? We have earned the respect of the creditors whom we represent, and have received letters of thanks from consumers we helped to settle their debts.? This is the first time we have been given minutes or less to investigate and respond to a complaint.? Our answering machine was professionally set up by Westelcom.? We have not had any other complaints about our answering system.? This consumer asks us to answer questions in one section of her complaint, but under desired settlement our only option is to stop contacting her.?
