Certified Recovery Systems, Inc Reviews (11)

As I have stated in the my last few responses, we are more than willing to work with Ms. [redacted] to resolve this matter.  We have already provided a copy of her contract as well as a payment history.  We obtained this information directly from the original creditor.  Once Ms. [redacted] contacts our office, a representative can assist her with several options on paying the balance in full.  Our representatives can also answer any questions regarding credit reporting.  Our main goal here is to get this matter resolved as quickly as possible.  Our number once again is [redacted]  Please have Ms. [redacted] refer to [redacted] when calling.

We spoke with Ms. [redacted] on Wednesday, 11-18-15, in regards to her initial complaint and she seemed satisfied with the outcome.  She asked about her title and we told her that we, Certified Recovery Systems, Inc., didn't have her title.  It was explained to Ms. [redacted] that we were the collection agency for the original creditor.  It was also explained to Ms. [redacted] that the original creditor is who would have the title.  We also explained to Ms. [redacted] that once her account was paid in full, we would report it to the original creditor so that she could get her title back.  I'm not sure why Ms. [redacted] feels like we are not a legitimate company when she has made several payments to our company in the past.  Ms. [redacted] has been paying on her account with us and still has an outstanding balance.  We offered to settle the account out for Ms. [redacted], which could possibly help her get her title back quicker.  We provided Ms. [redacted] with the contact information of the original creditor just in case she wanted to deal with them directly and not have to go through us.  We are trying to help Ms. [redacted] get this issue resolved.  If Ms. [redacted] wants to truly get the issue resolved, she can contact our office at 713-464-4449 and one of our representatives can assist her or Ms. [redacted] can call the original creditor directly.  Again, as stated before, we, Certified Recovery Systems, Inc., do not have the title for Ms. [redacted].  We told Ms. [redacted] that on Wednesday, 11-18-15.  That is the main reason we provided Ms. [redacted] with the contact information of the original creditor.

It is unfortunate that Mr. [redacted] does not accept our response to his complaint.  However, based on our investigation of the charges we believe them to be accurate and unless he can provide proof otherwise we will continue to keep this account open as listed.
Mr. [redacted]'s claims under the [redacted] in his original complaint request for information are not correct, other than the requirement for a letter to be sent to the consumer regarding the account, thus giving him the 30-day validation notice.  This letter was sent as required (see previous response to complaint) and therefore the standards have been met.  The [redacted] does not require the creditor to provide the other information he is requesting although we did previously provide him with the original creditor, amount owed, date assigned to us, as well as the dates we contacted him regarding this outstanding matter.
We consider this complaint handled and simply ask that Mr. [redacted] fulfill his commitment to our client by taking care of the outstanding balance.

this account was originally assigned to us by the original creditor, [redacted], on 02-19-10 in the amount of $455.60.  Mr. [redacted] was contacted on 03-17-10 regarding this issue.  The balance was explained to him and the reason it was owed, but he refused to pay at that...

time.  He was then sent a letter with the details of these charges on 03-22-10 to the last known address for him, but this letter was returned as undeliverable and there was no forwarding address provided.  He was then contacted via phone on 04-13-10 but he again refused to pay.  He was asked to provide us with a good address so we could send him the information on the account but he refused to provide.  After this numerous attempts were made to contact him but were unsuccessful. We believe the amount is still owed by Mr. [redacted] and he can make a payment on our website.

I spoke with Mr. [redacted] on Friday, 03-20-15, and we were able to resolve the issue.

I have called the company 3/19/15 twice and once on 3/20. I keep getting the mans voicemail and no reply. I need to cleared. I also spoke to a lady and she was rude once again saying since I placed a complaint I need to wait for him to call me back did not give me any information of when he would be back in the office or when I can expect a call. They state they try to work with me but this compnany is just playing games. I need my account cleared I was considering just paying this and taking them to court to get my money back but what's the point. I am right and I will get justice. I'm a [redacted] and I have held my post during combat 3 tours and I will not be put down this time I will stand and fight this. I have been respectful but this is getting crazy. How hard is it to clear me from the claws of your I just company.
Regards,

Based on our records, Mr. [redacted] spoke with one of our representatives on 01-03-13 and set up two post dated checks for the balance in full.  The dates were 01-10-13 and 01-24-13.  We processed the first check on the agreed date and it was returned.  Mr. [redacted] was charged a...

returned check fee as explained when the initial agreement was set up.  Our records also show that back on 01-31-13, one of our representatives spoke with Mr. [redacted] and Mr. [redacted] told the representative that he would go to our website and make the payment for the entire balance (including the returned check fees) with his credit card.  We never received the payment.  We made several attempts to contact Mr. [redacted] to resolve the matter.  Mr. [redacted] spoke with one of our representatives on 02-11-13 and promised to make the payment in full again, but we never received the payment.  We continued to try to contact Mr. [redacted] in an attempt to get him to resolve the issue.  Again, we were unsuccessful.  As of 02-01-15, our records showed that Mr. [redacted] had an outstanding balance of $227.98.  Our client, [redacted], called us and notified us that Mr. [redacted] paid $192.98 to them directly.  We informed our client that there was still an outstanding balance of $35.00 that was still owed.  The situation was explained to the client and they fully agreed and understood.  There is an outstanding balance of $35.00 that is owed.  We are more than willing to work out a payment arrangement with Mr. [redacted].  He can contact our office at 713-464-4449 and one of our representatives can assist him.

I didn’t receive an email on April 10,2014 regarding
Certified Recovery rebuttal. I was not aware my case was closed. I would like
for it to be reopened as I do not accept their response. All I want is for
Certified Recovery Systems to agree in writing that if this debt is paid off it
will be removed from my credit file, a complete copy of the contract (for it to
include all pages) and a complete payment history. I would also like to ask
Certified Recovery Systems to only contact me by mail. I do not want to be
contact by any personal contact information I provide threw this complaint.
Please assist!
Thanks,

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  As previously discussed, Amaya (CRSI representative) spoke to a representative from Loan Depot (with me on the phone). He told her Loan Depot showed NO TYPE of payment received in the past 2 years, which is how long I was paying CRSI. He also informed Amaya that whoever sold the loan to CRSI would be who to contact for the title. Amaya told me she would gather that information and call me back. She told me we would get an extension on the payment until this was resolved. All this happened in October and since that day we have been calling and [redacted] messaging CRSI without any phone calls or messages being returned about the actual status of the title.

Certified Recovery Systems, Inc (CRSI) has not only failed to prove that they sent me a letter but has also failed to prove that I received it. It is greatly disappointing that CRSI would be more concerned with making money than following [redacted] guidelines. As a consumer, I am ensured that I will be able to validate or dispute any allegations of debt. I keep meticulous records and copies of all credit and debt-related correspondence and have nothing from CRSI. Perhaps CRSI should invest in certified mail to insure that their clients receive the proper information, not just assume they received some nonexistent letter.
I wanted the initial information to see whether or not the debt alleged is valid. I asked them to remove the collection from my CRA because of their absolute failure to meet [redacted] guidelines.

[redacted].

Based on the information that was provided by Ms. [redacted], we were able to locate an account belonging to her.  We are more than willing to work with Ms. [redacted].  We made a couple of attempts to reach Ms. [redacted] to try and work out a possible resolution, but we were unsuccessful in our...

attempts.  If Ms. [redacted] can contact our office, I can assist her personally.  Again, we are willing to come to some sort of resolution with Ms. [redacted].
