I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. The time in which it takes to perform repairs to your home is far too long of a wait. I had to wait 5 months! This comes from this company taking on too many customers without enough workers. In addition to this, another reason that I would not recommend this company is because of the workers. Some of the workers were okay and others were just terrible. I had a painter to work on my house and he stopped working on it before he could complete it. The company had to send other people out to finish the work that he didn't complete. Not to mention that the company has no ideal as to when their workers arrive onto your property to perform the repairs needed. I had to constantly call this company and ask the whereabouts of their employees. A lot of times, the employees just didn't show up as they had been scheduled by the company to do. I had a trashy yard and huge white paint spots all over my yard, after one of the workers had began the outside work on my house.
They mainly use two sales people and they "Talk a good game", but after they get you on board with their company...you don't see them or hear from them anymore, even if you call them. They are quick to pick up your payment from you, but slow in rendering the service for repairs. You don't get an itemized list of the expenses or work being done on your home. Therefore, you don't know where the money is being spent. All you get is a one sheet copy of SOME of the work that needs to be performed. However, there is no breakdown of the costs listed...no numbers or dollar amounts...other than the amount of your insurance check. They simply ask you what the amount of your insurance check is and that is the amount of what they are going to tell you, you have to pay them. They just expect for you to hand over the check with no questions at all.
Another thing that I did not like was the fact that, after the work was completed NO ONE came around to check or inspect the work that was performed by their workers, to ensure that they did the work right or completed it. It irked me that every time their workers came out to perform the repairs, they would always ask me what it was that they were expected to do. They had no ideal as to what work needed to be done. They didn't have any paperwork with them, which they should have had from the insurance claim.
If you don't mind waiting for months upon months for the repairs to you house to be completed and if you don't mind being lied to, then this company is for you. But, if you want a company in which you don't have to call just about everyday of the week (like I had to do to put pressure on them to complete the work) and who won't take advantage of you...then you don't want to use this company.
The one positive thing that I did like about my experience with this company were the two office people (both females) who answer the telephones. They are very professional and helped me a lot.
I write this review because I DO NOT want others to go through what I have gone through with this company. So reader, beware and make your choices wisely.
I had a leaky roof that had caused a great deal of damage to the interior of my home. Not only did the roof need replacing but I had several rooms that needed repair due to the water damage. Ceilings, flooring, crown molding etc., needed either replacing, repair, painting or all. My youngest son told me "Mom, I know a guy that may be able to help you" -he then gave me a phone number for [redacted] I called [redacted] and explained the situation and he came out to my home and accessed the roof as well as interior of my home. [redacted] carefully reviewed each area of damage and took pictures. He then discussed several things and advised me to contact my home owner's insurance companay. Please keep in mind that I deal with medical insurance companies quite frequently in my work and so my heart kind of just sank. Because of my experience with these types of entities I had a feeling I was dead in the water. Insurance companies want your money on time every-time but the don't really want you to call them!
One of the best phone calls I ever made was calling [redacted] with Certified Roofing & Gutters because yes, I called my insurance company to initiate the claim but [redacted] is the one that took them to task and made sure they did right by me, the customer. I have worked with other contractors over the years and I have NEVER had anyone work as hard as he does at making sure the customer is served well. The insurance company did just what I feared they approved for some of the damage but not all. But...they did not realize who they were dealing with! [redacted] discussed my claim withtthe company adjuster, the field adjuster and anyone else he could talk to that could sign off on getting this thing approved. He badgered both of these folks and when they started avoiding phone calls he went over their heads and took my claim to the boss over them. Shortly after discussing my claim with the boss's boss and sending this man the required information my claim was approved at 100%. I could not have been happier but honestly shocked as well!
My new roof was put on this week and it looks great. The company came and put the roof on in one day and left my driveway, yard, etc., cleaner that it was before they got there. Lastly, I would just like to say that customer service is a lost art but not for [redacted] and his company. The era of big box stores and if you need help you're on your own is not the way this man operates, I was so surprised and pleased that I chose to call [redacted]. People don't even know what going the "extra mile" is anymore but that is just what you'll get with [redacted]. I cannot recommend [redacted] and his company more highly!
