I have been to the house of Mrs. [redacted] today Monday November 2 2015 went to check on the the problem she was having with the leak. I checked on the gutters which we have removed and installed new fascia boards where neccessary. Also checked on the drainage of guttering to make sure they were...

draining properly. The extra downspout we installed was draining The others could not tell as they were tied into a french drain in the ground and could not be properly inspected. On arrival today I first went to the door to notifiy her I was there which she was I then told her I was going up on the roof to inspect the work we have done at this point I did not notice any problems to be addressed so since it was raining I decided the next step was to go into the attic and do a inspection which I did I went to the area of the roof where the leak was occuring and immediately noticed the source of the leak which happened to be at a plumbing penetration. Then proceeded back up on the roof to determine why this area was leaking and took pictures to show the customer. The installation was correct in the plumbing boot although we did not install the boot or the roof. The spoke to Mr and Mrs [redacted] about my return to fix the problem.When I originally came to look at the roof problem I determined the leak was occuring because of the gutters being full with debris and the lenght of the guttering being over 90ft in lenght also the fascia boards as well as the wood soffit under the vinyl that was installed was wet giving the thought that this was a backflow issue. but upon my investigation as of today when it was raining I now know the problem is with the flashing of the pipe vent flashing at lower slope of roof. Which I will repair when it is not raining for sealant to hold and stick.  Matt Certified Roofing LLc

Review: notified on March 14, 2014 that my sky light was leaking,never came back to fix,had to call another roofer,it is now September and I have not heard a word from him,gave me a long warranty which is probably no good,the first time he came back, although it took him more than a week,large house with a lot of roofDesired Settlement: pay me the 125 dollars it cost me to have roof repaired
