Attached is a copy of the contract we signed with CertiproThere are several reasons why we expected a complete job to be done with the quote we were givenThe contract is subtitled "Instructions and Authorization for the Restoration of your Property"RestorationThe contract was signed with the intent that the house would be repaired back to its original state, not left after only tearing down wet dry wallThis is also mentioned in the "Authorization" section of the contract which ends "to perform all restoration procedures necessary to repair and restore the carpet, furniture, structure and other furnishings""Prices" - under this part of the contract they do make it clear that it is impractical to get an exact quote before finishing the job since drying times may varyHowever, once we were given a quote, it took them nearly two weeks to provide us with an invoice explaining what they were charging for since they said this was not a quote to complete a jobIf the contract states they work to restore the property, why would we expect a quote that does not include finishing the job?"Drying Equipment" - This starts off by saying "I understand that high velocity air-movers (fans) and dehumidifiers WILL be installed to increase the rate of drying"Once they tore down the drywall and were asked about when these would be placed, we were told they would no longer be necessary, even though it was made clear this was an integral part of the repair process and was once again assumed to be a part of the quote given to restore the home.Several pieces of this contract were not held up by Certipro.Regards,*** ***

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
The following is an e-mail that was sent to the Revdex.com for reference on what has been sent in the past and explains why we are rejecting this response:Cover contents matrl labor 50.02Remove drywall 291.13Remove baseboard 31.01Detatchlight fixt 150.13Antimicrobial 302.00Remove debris and dump labor and dump fee 310.00 Total 1134.29The above is a copy/paste of the invoice that was sent to us on 7-11-17, days after contacting them nearly everyday from the time we made paymentWe were quoted the above price of to do the total jobThat included drying equipment to be brought out to help get rid of the moisture in the wall/ceiling as well as replacing the dry wallWe even had to sign a paper saying that we wouldn't touch his drying equipment once it is placedCertipro says that this quote was only to remove the dry wall, not for the drying equipment or the build backWe didn't believe this could be the price to simply remove an 6xarea of dry wall with a total of hours of labor between the estimate and removal. Here are our issues with the above quote:to detach light fixtures is absurdThis just included taking the cover off the lights in the kitchen and removing a screw that attached it to the ceiling, barely more than what's required to replace a lightbulbThis took them a total of no more than minutes for both lights. antimicrobialThe employee said he wanted to come out and re-spray the antimicrobial the day after he was here to tear out dry wallHe tells us the next day this is because the first day he sprayed antimicrobial that was only meant for concrete. to remove debrisThere was garbage bags worth of dry wallThe debris was originally placed in a bucket we provided, that was torn out using a step stool that we had to provide, and cleaned up with a broom and dustpan we also had to provide because they had none of these materials with themof the garbage bags was left on our back deck that we carried out to our curb to be taken away the next day since they had forgotten itWe also spent minutes cleaning left over debris in the kitchen that was on top of the fridge and the cabinets after they had left as well as cleaning dry wall dust left on the materials we had to provide themThe total amount of dry wall that was removed could easily have been placed in our *** trash bin that would have been picked up and removed at no charge. The owner was originally contacted on July 5th and he said he would be calling us back the next day after getting in contact with his employee to see about how the price quoted to us ended up not including any drying of the moisture or build backAt the time of writing this (7-13-17) we still have not heard back from the owner other than the invoice that was just e-mailed to usThe employee who came out to do the work called us on Monday, July 10th asking if we wanted Certipro to come out and do the build back for the additional $2000+ dollars to which I told him absolutely not; however, he acted as if he was completely unaware of us being unhappy about the previous bill or us contacting the owner concerning it
This e-mail is a perfect summary of why we are still dissatisfied with the service we receivedUltimately, we were quoted a price of $to do a complete job and that is what we want done (not including the plumbing work, that was the only thing made clear)There's no reason we would want a quote for part of a job unless it was specifiedIf we had been provided an invoice (that we requested over a period of weeks) we would have known what we were paying for but kept getting told they couldn't get us one at the timeIt took weeks to get us an invoice because it seems there never was oneThis price and everything it entailed seemed to be thrown together in a quick e-mail trying to justify what they charged us for a partial jobIt would be buyers remorse if we were unhappy with what we paid forBut since we paid for an entire job to be done, it's starting to look more like fraud
