Review: The [redacted] in [redacted] NJ (of which I am President) contracted with Cesar & Sons to perform several exterior repairs at our building in Oct. 2013. Some items were completed successfully, but the item to patch some stucco cracks on our east side wall was not. They initially patched with a type of stucco paint, but the cracks re-formed in just a few days. They came back and did the same work again, with the same result again. They then came back a second time and used a type of cement paste to patch the cracks. That time the work seemed to be holding up, and so we paid them the remaining balance of the contract price. They agreed that we should contact them and they would return if the cracks re-formed. About 5 - 6 weeks after the last patch job, some of the cracks did re-form again. I then contacted them and they said they would come back to patch again as soon as we had a day with good enough weather (dry and warm enough). When I contacted them again on Fri. 12/20/13, they agreed that the weather was good enough and they would come to our building on Sat. 12/21/13 in the am. At about 11:00 am they called and said they were "on their way". I waited for them until darkness started at about 4:00 pm, but they never showed up nor contacted me further. I have heard nothing further from them since then. I therefore have to conclude that they do not intend to honor their commitment to complete their contract. The stucco cracks are now serious enough that I do not think we got what we paid for regarding that portion of their work.Desired Settlement: We want them to return to our building and patch the stucco cracks again in such a way that the wall surface remains relatively smooth and the cracks do not re-form.
