They came to install my hardwood tile and when they arrived 4 people were at my door - two did not speak English and were not in any uniform as the other 2 were. The lead guy said I needed to take all my pictures off the walls and acted very annoyed with me that I had not done this and I told him I was not told to. I was actually told since this was a 3 day job I could move much of my movable items from the front rooms and have them work on that first then move to my back room. He said I needed to move everything all at the same time. I paid extra to have furniture moved but needed to remove trinkets and I knew this but again, was told I could do it in stages. He said he was going out to look at the pallets of tile " and I should move everything now. I then took 20 pictures off the walls and moved many things out of the back rooms and he comes in after 30 minutes and says: "My time is money and I'm not doing this job". I explained I just removed everything at his request - and took 3 days off work as my time is money too. He said "my supervisor is aware and this is your problem". Slammed the door and left. I can't imagine where else he had to go so urgently since he was scheduled at my house for 3 days. I called Cesar's and they said the installer was upset because I mentioned when they first arrived that I had just gotten back from a trip the day before - I was making conversation. Well the installer thought that meant I was "tired and did not want to remove any items". I explained I removed the items - and now I'm left with everything all over my house and off the walls and no tiles. This was a $6,5000 job and I should have gotten much better service and assistance. I cancelled the entire order as they obviously don't want my business.

These guys are a scam. They are part of Lowes installation team and we ordered wood floors with 89 cent install. It cost over $2k for less than 400 sq ft but I figured it was worth the time I would save. We took up the carpet, filled in all the holes from the tack strip and had a friend who does floors level the floor for us. The area was checked with a laser level and was good to go. The installer got there today with orders and a note that said "may need leveling" from the guy who measured the floor (he had his grinder with him ready to go). They refused to install the floor saying it will void the warrantee and wanted another $375 to install. Even though the floor had been leveled. When I asked exactly how far off level it was he said ummm, umm well it's not level. I asked three times and finally he said it's over 1/4 inch off in 3 places using a six foot level. That was the best he could do but not before I harassed an answer out of him. The guy who was there was actually pretty nice. Its not his fault he works for a company like this I'm sure. Between Lowes and the guys boss no one seemed to care about anything but getting an extra buck. I will never use them again. I should have gone with my gut instinct and stayed with Home Depot. The installers are working for Lowes. They don't have their own website or BB accredited. I should have know better.

Cesare's installed 2200 square carpet at our home in 2010, they came back to stretch the carpet in 2012 in several rooms, which was covered under our warranty. In 2015 , the carpet had bubbles/ripples again in all rooms. We contacted them and Lowe's since they contract through Lowe's and explained the situation and this had already happened at the two year mark. Both companies said the warranty was up. When we were not satisfied with this answer, Lowe's offered to have a carpet install inspection to determine if it was an install or product issue. Unfortunately, Lowe's only has one company to do the install inspection and they are the Cesare's installers. We explained to Lowe's we thought this was a conflict of interest, and were assured Lowe's is the middle man once the inspection is complete and therefore, it isn't a conflict of interest. The inspection was done and we were contacted by Lowe's to go over the results. Cesare's reported the bubbles/ripples were due to neglect and the amount of furniture in the home. We did not agree with the findings as the carpet is not neglected and the amount of furniture has not changed since the install. We explained we do not move the furniture around besides move two couches at Christmas and we do not drag them but lift them to move them. We were told they were sorry but my install warranty has expired, they would be happy to come over with Cesare's to give us a quote to restretch the carpet with additional costs to move furniture (ballpark estimate was $2,000 which included them moving furniture, which we indicated we would move the furniiture). The price included no discount , so we declined having them stretch it a third time. The carpet was originally installed without a power stretcher, which I have since learned would have been the way it is done to avoid wrinkling. We were not able to make a product claim with Lowe's as we did not have the carpet professionally cleaned once a year. I will never use Lowe's or Cesare's in the future.
