For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear belowThis is an unacceptable response, because there is in fact still mold in the apartmentA month after the unit was "cleaned" mold was growing on the window againI will not move back into the unit due to my allergies to moldThey did offer to move me to another apartment, but said I'd have to pay a higher priceThe contract states, "If we cannot provide the Premises to you, or you are not relocated to another room at the property, within the shorter of days after the starting date, then you will have the right to terminate this lease, and upon such termination we will refund any security deposit and any rent previously paid by you for which you did not occupy any room at the property." It is not my fault that there is mold growing in my wall and it is not my fault that it was not cleaned properlyThey are in breach of contract when they did not clean in accordance to their contractThe contract states, "EPA recommends that you first clean the areas with soap and water, let the surface dry, and then within hours apply a pre-mixed spray on type household biocide (which should be of the non-staining variety and whose label states that it will kill mold) Always clean and apply a biocide to an area or times larger than any visible to the naked eye." I was there when maintenance came to cleanHe cut a square out from the wall, sprayed some bleach on it, left the visible mold and closed it back up immediatelyNot only did they not use a biocide but they did not let it dry for hoursDuring that time they did not move me to another room. Therefore, I would like my lease terminated because I will not live in my unit or any other unit that has mold and I certainly will not pay to when they have in fact broke their contract

As I originally stated there is NO mold in the unit. We offered to transfer [redacted] to our sister property. The rate would have increased as the units are larger. We did complete the repairs and all was in good order for her to stay in her current unit. Thank you.

Again, biocide was never used in the cleaning process; which your contract stated had to be used. Also, the room was not aloud 24 hrs to air out; which was also stated in the contract. I pay $385 for the current room, I did not ask for a larger room nor would I accept one at a higher price.
