If I could give this business - 1000 stars I would. This esthetician is unethical, unprofessional and extremely rude. I purchased an at home chemical peel kit with a virtual session from him, and in turn I had second degree burn on my face due to his negligence as a "professional". The first sign of his unprofessionalism was that I ordered the kit from him and he was supposed to mail it out. Days went by and I never received a tracking number or update on my package. I had to reach out to him for him to finally inform me that deliveries were delayed and I could come and pick it up if I was local. His second sign was his communication and punctuality. After I picked the kit up, he told me to text him when I was home so we could begin the session. I did, and he didn't respond. I texted him later that evening to ask if we could still have the session and he scheduled me for the next day instead. The next day, he was late to the session and there was no apology for that. Finally we begin the session and there was another client that he would be instructing as well which wasnt a problem at first until I realized that there was too much going on, but by that time we had already begun. He was supposed to help guide and assist me through the process but failed miserably. He left out essential detailed steps to the process and and also vital materials to my kit. I was missing a measuring cup to accurately measure out the chemical and he told me a could use something else. No apology for that either. This could have been a reason things also didn't go well. After I realized my skin was burned I emailed him addressing my concerns and requesting a refund to pay for the damages caused, however I was denied a refund and his response was rude and condescending. He said it was my fault and I quote, "should have used my common sense" but as a professional, he should have given me all of the right to tools to a successful process, as I am no professional and know anything about skin care. He allowed me to let my girlfriend assist me with administering the peel and didn't tell me that it wasn't a good idea to do that until after I addressed it in the email. Then he told me he didn't tell me to do that and that was also my fault. But if he didn't think I should do that, as a PROFESSIONAL he could have told me that and I wouldn't have. He also advised me to "open my own spa if I didn't like the way he ran his". I trusted him with my skin and he let me down. I didn't receive an apology for his behavior or for the mistakes he made. The peel he sold me is also dangerously too strong and should not be used on certain skin types. I now have to face the consequences and he has not been affected. I was very patient with him and was never rude nor disrespectful and he still treated me terrible. His behavior was disgusting and I hope this won't happen to anyone else. This esthetician clearly wanted to only make a quick buck instead of taking the time out to care for me as a client. I will be taking him to court to sue and also reporting him to the board of cosmetology as a person that is inadequate to provide skin care since he can't use his better judgment as the professional he claims he is.
