C&F Greystone

Dear Revdex.com Representative,

I would like to lodge a formal complaint against Chris M, Project manager, C&F Greystone, LLC ***. MHIC: 112922.

On or around July 31st, I paid $150.00 as a deposit for bathtub refinishing services to be completed in the main bathroom of my home located at ***. Mr. M agreed to apply 2 coats of Rust-Oleum Tub and Tile Refinisher as recommended by the sales associate at the hardware store that I purchased. It was further agreed that the job would be completed in one day, but my family and I would not be able to use the bathtub for 3 days. As we both agreed to the terms of the job we agreed upon a date and exchanged contact information. There was never a written contract between the two of us with the stated details of this agreement.

Mr. M began the job on or around August 14, 2019. He was only able to apply a partial cost because he said there was an issue with the can that he used and with the one that had not been used. I returned the unit to the Home Depot and they gave me another unit with 2 new cans of product. I then reached out to Mr. M over a 2-week period to schedule a time for him to return and complete the job. He confirmed that he would come back out on three different occasions but never returned as promised. As an act of good faith and the fact that he was recommended by a neighbor I paid him the remaining balance of $150.00 with the understanding that he would come back and complete the job.

After he did not return as scheduled, I tried to contact him via phone and text message to determine what the next steps would be to get the job completed. As we were not coming to an agreement as to what he would do to rectify the problem, I requested a partial refund so that I could hire someone else to complete the job. He then sent me an expletive laced text message informing me that he completed the job and that no refunds (partial or full) would be given. I would also like to note that Mr. M did not inform me that my dog and I needed to leave the premises while completing the job due to the toxic fumes. As he did not have any fans to circulate air within the house, I was sick for 3 days following the partial application

Although I sent messages on several occasions (see attachments for specific dates and times), I have not received a satisfactory response. I have also not received neither a refund nor a sufficient replacement. At this juncture, due to the time and effort I have expended, I am seeking a full refund of $300.00.

Attached are my sales receipts and all correspondence I have had with Mr. M. I look forward to your response.
