Review: on 10/10 my employer approached me telling me a man named [redacted] had been calling continuously for 3 days, very rude and hateful stating he was an investigator. He stated he would call every 15 minutes until I returned his call. I called the number given to me by my employer. A women named [redacted] answered and said I had several lawsuits against me including check fraud and theft by deception. I had to go back to work so I would call them back. In returning the call they would not give me any details of the situation, they kept saying if I wanted to resolve the matter I had to send a money gram or western union the money. after refusing to send money they blocked their number and called my phone 24 times in 43 minutes. on 10/11/2013 they started calling again. 5 times while I was at work and I could not answer. once I got home they called again. I stated I contacted the Revdex.com and they are not a credited business and could not be of collections because they did not state so. I told them they had violated the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act by Harassing my at work and at home. They refused to give me any information on their address, company info or nature of their calls. I told them not to contact my employer nor me anymore. This man said he would call them till I got fired. After all this the same man called back 23 times in 8 minutes and stated he would continue to call till I paid them. I told them to take me to court I would see them there, he said it would cost me 5000.00 or more in court.He also stated he had my bank information and social security number. I have had to change my phone number to stop the harassment. I still do not know what to do about the phone calls to my employer. I have had to notify everyone of my contacts of a number change due to harassment. The stress was unbearable. Please help stop this not only for me but other consumers who are experiencing the same harassment.Desired Settlement: I would like to be compensated for all the harassment, plus the stress I have had to endure at home and work. They have violated my rights under the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act in a number of ways. Harassment, Information of the case, They did not state they were collecting a debt, and other violations.
