Mr*** *** *** purchased a Dodge Ram Van from CG Autoplex on 05-12-and we were notified on 05-16-that the tank was expiredAfter being notified we immediately contacted *** *** *** since the expired tank was not disclosed We did purchase this vehicle on
line It is never out intention to sell vehicle that has an expired tank and we initiated the process to cancel the contract and return their deposit and trade in of which had already been detailed.On 05-23-2016, Credit Acceptance cancelled their contract and we returned their $deposit in the form of a company check and their trade in.Credit Acceptance turned this file over to their legal department for review due to the numerous calls and threats they receivedThis review did cause a delay in cancellation.On 06-10-Mr***'s contract was cancelled from Credit Acceptance with no further obligation from Mr***.Mr*** was released and owed no additional monies and furthermore the vehicle was never registered or titled in his name.We have done our best to resolve this issue and have been apologetic and had hoped that they were happy with the results.We have opted not to find another vehicle for them due to several legal department and media they have contacted.Best RegardsGreg S*Co owner for CG Auto plex

While we have received a complete refund, many details require correction. A serious issue has come to our attention in Mr. [redacted] response letter.It has been established that [redacted] disclosed the vehicle had expired CNG tanks. Mr. [redacted] has two opportunities to correct this. He refused. CG Autoplex did not initiate contact with us to resolve this until complaints had already been filed. The complaint filed with the Corporate Legal Department with Credit Acceptance was initiated at our request.We are requesting Mr. [redacted] clarifies his statement: "Credit Acceptance turned this file over to their legal department for review due to the numerous calls and threats they received." What are the dates of the threats? How many threats were made? Who made the threats? Who was threatened? What was the nature of the threats? Who witnessed the threats? Is there a statement(s) from those involved? Was a police report filed? How did you become aware of these threats? Can you provide anything to support your accusation? CG Autoplex, did extend the offer to sell us another vehicle on 5/20 and the offer was rejected by us. The letter of assignment from the finance company is dated 6/13, not 6/10. A conversation was had with the dealership on 6/10 in regard to why this wasn’t completed yet. After a poor review was given for this dealership, my wife was confronted in an unprofessional manner on Facebook by CG Autoplex. Mr. [redacted] claims it was not their intention to sell a vehicle with an Expired CNG tank, but they failed at every opportunity they were presented to address it. They provided statements such as "it doesn’t matter if the tanks are expired as long as it has low miles" and "no one is checking anyway" as an attempt to justify this transaction.We look forward to addressing the concerns Mr. [redacted] has highlighted involving threats.  Regards, [redacted]
