Review: What they said was not accurate. They it would be an hour an half, but ended up being longer than that the man in the front counter was rude to us by snapping at me when I clearly asked for a specific time so we can figure out our next step since we are from our of town. They said it was not going to be long before out would be fixed. And when they picked us up from restaurant it was in a tiny car there was total of six of us that makes out seven with the driver.not happy....with service at AOL......aDesired Settlement: At least to pay for our hotel since we didn't make it to camp site. Now we have to pay for room!!!!!

Review: My car broke down in Santa Fe on a move from Florida to Oregon. B & G is the only [redacted] recommended auto repair shop in town. I had my car towed here for repair. They did take care of me overnight and got me back on the road the next day. As I was driving through California, my car started having the same problem as when I was in New Mexico. I pushed through to Oregon and drove it straight to the dealership in town for further repair. It turns out that the part that B&G installed was defective, and had to be replaced again.

Here's where the problem began. I contacted B&G, and spoke with the owner who told me that if I mailed them the bad part, he would refund the cost of the part as well as the labor charge. I followed his instructions, luckily with a tracking number from USPS for delivery of the part. At first, they denied having received the part. Once I provided them with the tracking info, they said that it finally arrived. Then I was told that the refund could not be processed until the manufacturer of the part confirmed that it was defective. After repeated phone calls, confirmation was received. Then I was told that they needed to process the refund, and I would receive my check in two weeks. After that time had passed, I began calling again to find out where my check was. At this time, they either didn't answer when I called, or picked up and hung up the phone without answering.

At this time, I reached out to [redacted] to advocate for me. They contacted the garage owner, who told them that he had mailed a check that had never been cashed. After two weeks of dealing with [redacted], he finally mailed them a check which was then forwarded to me. When the check arrived, it was for the cost of the part only, not the labor - which I was told by the owner would also be refunded.

In total, this experience took nearly three months. Over all - a terribly unsatisfactory experience. I do not recommend this garage, as they do not stand by their work.Desired Settlement: Apology

[redacted] advocated for me, so I received a refund. I just want to make future clients of this repair shop aware of possible problems with this companies failure to honor warranties.
