C&G Motors

Recently I had my car towed from the building at which I live at in Lowell MA. Everyone in the building uses this area to load and unload their cars since the complex does not provide an area for this. After returning from a very long international overseas trip with pneumonia I used my car came home unloaded my groceries and fell ill again. Did not move my car in time so it was towed. The next day I was to ill to get out of bed and then by the next day I had to go to a Dr's appointment and realized my car had been towed. When my building office people called this company I was told it was a charge of 129.50 cash only then when I had to walk the mile to this location to get my car I was told by the owner it was now $199.50 his employee made a mistake it was now 3 days of storage. No where is it posted calender days or 24hr increments when I asked him about this he said its either I pay the fine or I dont get my car he didnt care. He was within his rights to do what he wanted. I have checked online and cant find the answers to calender days or 24hr increments either but feel that this owner has abused his rights and in this economy is rude and unfair. I explained to him that I was ill I live alone and had no one to come get the car and he said to bad he wanted his money. REAL dirtbag! I know that I was wrong for leaving my car there I am not disputing this but when HIS employee tells me 1 amount and then I show up and they demand another amount I feel that I have been taken advantage of and that there should have been some compromise taken especially in this economy and the fact that I am unemployed and this money I paid was my rent money which again he said to bad about.
