Hello , I response to the complaint, she is right about a few facts, first of all yes I will be accused rightfully so of "not showing up this year" but we did do the job just like what we were contracted to do and the result was not maybe what the client expected BUT it was 100% what we said
we were going to do. however, kindly enough I did offer to make some changes and we have not yet done so, I will complete that service very soon , hope in the next days *** ***

I agree to refund these folks as stated. I will not call any work SHADDY. this is completely wrong. the grade is perfect, the water problem is gone the lawn looks great, I have a pic on my phone from client showing there satisfaction with the lawn quality. I did screw up
on the fence timing that's why we agreed to $. the delay in payment is due to $ difficultly with huge AR. we will pay the client asap. also they did do reference checks in the beginning and found us to be a good contractor with good references *** Claerbaut

find that this resolution is ok.Is there any way a "Warning" can be given to consumers about this company? Yes it was resolved BUT ONLY after we had to file a Small Claims against them which took over a year to resolve; and additional money spent on our end to get this resolved.

In response to this complaint, we have tried to work with Mr. [redacted] to resolve his concern.  We were contracted to do some grading and to install top soil and grass seed.  However, between the time we did a site visit and provided a proposal and the time when we returned to start the...

job, Mr. [redacted] had installed several new trees and plantings directly in our work path.  This made his original request much more difficult, and is the reason for his water pooling problem.  This was explained to him when we started the job, and we said that we would do the best we could with the new situation.  We did make return trips to his home to try and rectify the problem, but without taking out all the plantings and completely regrading the area, the result he is looking for cannot be achieved.  As for the seeding of the lawn, we did install a watering system as part of the $350 fee he paid.  When we received the call from Mr. [redacted] that it was not working properly, we did return and correct the problem.  We did install more grass seed and left the watering system in place for an additional two weeks beyond the original time frame.  Upon removal of the watering system, Mr. [redacted] was instructed that he would need to continue to water the lawn, due to the weather conditions and the newly seeded areas.  Upon our inspection of the lawn, it does not appear that this has been done, as there were several dry patches of lawn.  A formal offer of resolution was sent to Mr. [redacted], via email, on 9/8/16.  This letter provided him with an option for us to return and do substantially more work to repair his dried out lawn areas, including two fertilizing applications, or to receive a partial refund of his contract.  When we received no response from him, a follow-up phone call was made on 9/13/16.  He said he did not get the email.  After verifying that the email address on file was correct, the email was resent, and a copy of the letter was also sent to him via US Mail.  Another follow-up phone call was placed on 9/19/16.  Mr. [redacted] said he did not get any of the emails and did not get the letter via US Mail either.  We offered to send it to a different email address, or to fax it, or mail it to another address.  He did not wish us to do any of those options, and said that he didn’t believe that we ever tried to send him anything.  At this point, we feel that we have made more than a fair attempt to contact Mr. [redacted] to try and resolve his concern.

We did some research and there were good reviews of his work online. Our experience did not live up to those good reviews. So, with this letter I conditionally accept this business' response, but it is on the condition we receive our money by the end of December. If we do not, I will reopen or resubmit this complaint with this agency and every other online agency I can find.

Hello , we are truly sorry about the delay.  this got away from use.  this job went good and every thing was good.  I will be willing to refund the tree  value to the client.  this email today was the first I saw of this , I don't know where the first email went we had...

cg did not!!! how ever the deal was that Dave would pick up when I had title , I bought at auction, I had to run down 1.5 hours away and do paper work. tittle would then get mailed to me .  David did pay $2000 for this truck, he sent money in exchange for truck.   due to the nature of the company I run, I got very busy and had no time to make the trip.  I gave Dave my address (text saved to prove)told him he could pick up any time.David was very aware that there was a title delay,before sending money!!! I will admit this took way too long to get done, we had a civil relationship until recently when all the name calling and character assassination began. after some discussion I told him I would relist truck AND FULLY REFUND HIS $ ONCE IT SOLD again I KEVIN (not cg)  agree to fully refund his $$ after I sell truck and have funds to do so!!!!!I apologized 20 times and will do so again, this deal took to long David moved on I understand, and will make this rightPlease remove  this post off this page IMMEDIATELY1)  Kevin's truck2) Kevin's phone 3) Kevin's PayPal account 4 Kevin's deal NO CG ANYWHERE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

IF he comes back this late, the grass will not grow and I'll have a mud pit.  I don't want this done anymore this year.  I want a refund.  This was contracted out so it would be landscaped so the puddle in my back yard would drain so I wouldn't have a huge puddle.   Yes he attempted to do the work, but it wasn't done correctly.  I still had the puddle in the spring, I've been trying to get this done since May.   He has been saying he'll come next week for five months....he had his chance.

Review: Having dealt with CG Services in the past, both at our address and at the address of our elderly mother, we entered into a service agreement for grass fertilizing and support for the 2013 season. A discount was offered for prepayment; based on prior experiences, we decided to take advantage of this, especially with the added bonus offered for the 2013 prepayment. At our property we desired a winter clean-up, this was never done prior to the first application of fertilizer. We could never get any commitment about when the clean-up would be done, so at the time of the first grass cutting in June, we ended up cleaning up our winter messes ourselves. We expected a winter clean-up to occur prior to the grass-cutting season in late May/June, and prior to any fertilization of the lawn. At the second property in question, work was also not done as discussed; a procedure was done we had agreed was not necessary, and we were billed. We were unaware work done in the past was now being sub-contracted to a firm we had never heard of. Having two properties with work not being done as discussed or expected, we asked to cancel any uncompleted lawn feedings which would have occurred as the seasons progressed, for a refund of monies not yet expensed. The office clerk agreed to the amounts that had not yet been expensed and we expected refund checks to be forthcoming in a timely fashion. The office clerk has always been pleasant and kept informing us that the paperwork was sitting on the boss's desk for handling. He's never followed through, despite repeated phone calls on our side. We've paid for all services rendered, we have only been seeking a refund for work that was cancelled and never undertaken; we understood through the office clerk's assurances that we would be refunded. To no avail thus far!Desired Settlement: As discussed during numerous phone contacts, we are only asking for the refund of the amounts paid for work that was not done and was cancelled. We had understood the company was not questioning our request for this refund; it has never arrived.

Review: CG Services guaranteed products & services for one (1) year from date of service - contract signed 4/30/14. After several trees/shrubs died, we attempted NUMEROUS times to contact the owner, [redacted] through text messages, phone calls and emails to get them replaced. He kept stringing us along. We filed a Small Claims complaint against the company and our initial court date was scheduled 10/21/15. As an attempt to settle this case out of court, our friend, who is an attorney, contacted the Mr. [redacted] to settle this out of court by him paying us $900. He met our friend and gave him a check that was not good - insufficient funds. We asked for an adjournment and the new court date was set for Wednesday, November 4. Our friend met with [redacted] again and he gave him $300 cash and said the funds would be available to cash the check for $900. Again, after several attempts to cash the check - there were "never funds available". Our attorney met with him a 3rd time today, November 3 to finally receive the $900 in cash. We have heard that there are other judgements against him. We want to make sure he doesn't do this to any other customers.Desired Settlement: We want the public to know that they should be VERY careful in doing business with CG Services and [redacted].

Review: We had work done by CG Service in the summer of 2013, there were a few projects that they did. One part of the project was to re-pitch the back yard because it puddles up in the spring. What they did didn't work, we still have the same problem. We've been in contact with them since May, trying to get them to come back and fix it. The only answers I get are we'll be out there next week, well it's October and I'm done asking.Desired Settlement: According to the quote he gave us it looks like that part of the project was $720.00, so that seems fair to me.

Review: Hired CG Services to remove concrete, trees and bushes; do landscaping and put up a fence. [redacted] told us it would take about a week. That was in April 2014. Workers didn't show up for weeks on end, when they did the work was shoddy at best (with the exception of the concrete sub-contractor, he was great). [redacted] kept promising workers would show up. By August, the "one week" job was nowhere near completion. Workers leveled "Grade A topsoil" (full of rocks) and planted seeds and left. No fence. [redacted] agreed to refund us $1,500 and did not. We won a default judgment against CG services in court and they still have not returned the money they said they would. This is a terrible company!Desired Settlement: I would like the money that is owed to us. Really, I would like to see them go out of business because they are terrible. Not only would I never hire them again, my wife and I have no desire to hire any contractor after this experience!
