Excellent service from start to finish! Office staff/scheduler was friendly and helpful. Technician was knowledgeable, explained what the problem was, what needed to be done, and what the total cost would be. Our system was back on track within a few hours. Office called the next day to follow up. We are very pleased with this company.

Chadds Ford Climate Control is our family's heating and cooling provider for life!!! We began our relationship with them in June of 2007 when I was 9 months pregnant and our air conditioner stopped working. They were to our house in a flash and did not leave until we were cool and comfortable. They have since replaced our unit, serviced it and have done plumbing work for us as well. We have had the owner himself to our home as well as the many great technicians that work for him. They have always been prompt, efficient and neat. I would highly recommend them!

I am so happy that I found Chadds Ford Climate Control. We were using another HVAC company in town for two years and they came to check an error message and found part of the heater that needed a repair. The price for repair was extremely high (several thousand dollars). I called Chadds Ford Climate Control for a second opinion. They came the very next day and found the repair was under warranty. They got everything up and running and saved me a ton of money. They have since put in our generator, hot water heater and several plumbing repairs. This is a fantastic local company with an honest and kind owner..Ken is the best. They have always come in with the best price and are by far the best to work with. Also, every single one of his employees is courteous, polite and efficient. We would never use anyone else.

I recently hired Chadds Ford Climate Control to replace a non-functional air conditioner (including fan and air handler.) The owner came to my house to inspect the old unit and give me an estimate. They proposed a 4-tier estimate: budget, good, better, or best. All options were appropriate for the size of the house.
Because I am a single mom, working as a teacher and going through an expensive divorce, I chose the budget option. During the conversation with the owner about my choice, he convinced me to go with the 'good' option instead. He claimed that the larger fan would cause air to reach my addition so that I wouldn't need my window unit.
On the day of installation, two very young men showed up to do the job. The air conditioner was installed without incident, but when they turned it on, it flipped its breaker. One of the workers then began unhooking wires in my electrical panel and trying to sort out the best spot for the new AC.
At this point, the owner showed up at my home to help sort things out. They left my home that day with a wire from the attic, through my son's closet and then through a hole drilled in my son's floor. My dryer was completely disconnected because they couldn't figure out how to wire everything into the panel at once. So, I had AC, but lacked the ability to complete a load of laundry.
The owner and his electrician did finally come back to the house a full week later to fix the panel issue. They left that day with everything hooked up, but with the instruction that I couldn't run the dryer and the AC at the same time. Ok.
The owner then looked me in the eye and shook my hand promising to return on Monday to upgrade my panel. I would have to pay labor, to the tune of $1000 extra dollars. Remember, none of this was addressed in the original estimate. So because I went with the larger, 'good' option, I now needed some significant electrical work.
Today is 9 days after he looked me in the eye and promised to make things right, and the owner has not even contacted me yet. The company claims to be an honest, small family-owned business. But I am feeling so completely ripped off and taken advantage of because I am a single woman. I really believe they just ripped me off because they knew they could.
I went with a small, local business to keep my money in the area and support a family business. I am regretting that decision because now I'm left with a huge, expensive mess to clean up.
Ladies, do not use this company. They will take advantage of you without a care.
