time to time homes are inspected and charged to the client as part of their renewal premium--this is not done yearly. At the time of the inspection, they & we were NOT informed that the insured was going to change insurance companies. The company inspected and charged the insured as they had to pay the inspection company. The insurance company, once informed of the carrier change refunded 100% of the insurance premium, but not their inspection fee.We made an inquiry in an attempt to get the inspection fee resolved and returned to the client. It was rejected because the inspection was completed & finalized. We then called them again and challenged their ruling. In the end they agreed to refund 100% of the inspection fee and are crediting the account in full as an accommodation to me, my insurance agency and to the client. Sincerely,[redacted]President
