Chalk Couture

I joined Chalk Couture's club. Really unhappy with it. The choices for each months stencil is awful. I know they have better stencils than that! Also you get them late. Every holiday stencil you get at the same time of the holiday. So you make it and look at it and put it away because the holiday is over. What a waste! They started sending you wood inserts to put over the project you just made. It's the same project you just cover it over with the same project! Does this even make sense? I rather have something to put the project on. Wth!? It's always late. I have to contact them to send it. Are they sleeping? Big disappointment 😞

I signed up as a designer with Chalk Couture recently. My biggest complaint with them is their awful customer service. They were releasing new product at the beginning of February, I do not recall the exact date, at 3 PM, MST. It would make it 5 PM EST. At 5:20 PM, I logged in and went to place my order, that I was so excited for, being a new designer and new to chalking, only to find that EVERYTHING I wanted was sold out! Ok, that’s the way you want to do business, only carry inventory for 20 minutes, fine. I emailed Chalk Couture that night expressing my disappointment and frustration with this entire process. Not to mention that designers who are higher up the “corporate ladder” receive special treatment and can see what is coming out, can even purchase or receive some items that are being released before the measly “hobby designers” like myself. All designers should be treated equal regardless of how much money they make for this company. I could go on but my point is that I NEVER HEARD BACK from them! I emailed them again after three days and received their standard “we received your message and will get back to you within 24-48 hours”. Four days later, I had to start a chat because they no longer answer the phones (that’s a nice message to send your designers and customers; we don’t want to talk to you). I got absolutely nowhere with them! They would not acknowledge receipt of my first email, and just kept saying that they received so many emails after the release (shocking!) that they are working hard to get back to everyone. Rest assured I would receive a response. It has been 4 weeks and I am still waiting. I have never dealt with such a poorly run direct sales business as this one. Thanks, Chalk Couture, for making me feel welcome in your business. Cannot wait to cancel.
