On July 26th I placed an order with Chalk Couture for $125 worth of products that I still have not received. I've emailed the company twice and the only thing I receive is an automated email stating they will get back to me soon....when?? I've called and can never reach a live person. The email stated they are having a delivery wait time and that their products are worth the wait. Frankly I find that rude. First, tell your customers BEFORE they order and you hold their money hostage that you can't fulfill their needs. Don't blame it on covid. I get deliveries DAILY for my business from all over the country. They have been my only issue! Thats poor business management. I want my order thats almost a month old and I want some type of compensation for my wait. I think its important for them to realize customer service should be #1. My order # is ***.

Thank you for your feedback. We have tried our very best to set the proper expectations regarding our current order turnaround time. We fully acknowledge it has not been a perfect process and the order delays are frustrating. That is awesome if the other companies have ordered from have been able to turn your orders around quicker. Unfortunately, Covid has had an impact on our ability to get all orders shipped out as quickly as we have in the past. Different areas of the country are being impacted differently.
Due to high email volumes, our customer service team is currently running behind in their replies. However, our phone hours are 8:30 am to 4:30 pm MT Monday - Friday and we have people available and answering calls during those hours.
We are currently looking at our options to make it up to our customers for the delay in their order shipping.
I see your order was delivered yesterday, August 19. If you have any concerns about the order, please call our customer service department during business hours so we can help you as quickly as possible.

I bought an 18x24 surface and some chalk paste from them. The surface broke and the paste is dried up. I asked for a replacement on the items and they told that they do not have to place anything. No, I do not have any pictures of these items! No, don't remember who I spoke too. I think they are falsely advertising that honor there products this is untrue. I just wanted a replacement on my items. This business needs too be shut done. My designer is not helpful.

I placed two orders on 6-16-2020 and added express 2-3 day shipping. As of today 6-22-2020 I have yet received either order. I was in contact with the company through email on Friday and they assured me my orders would be delivered within the time frame in which I paid for. However, I disagree with considering my order was placed 6 days ago. A customer of mine placed an order on the 17th and received it on 6-20-2020 with standard shipping to the same town.

Beware of the express shipping charge! It's not any faster from my experience.

Back in April I joined an online vendor event on Facebook. I watched a 'live' from a designer, and wanted one of the 5X7 'kits' she was offering for $25. Since this was a closed group, through the comments on her live I ordered this kit. It came with a 5x7 white crate looking surface to chalk on, a transfer that says don't stumble over something behind you, a teal chalk packet, a black packet, and one teal spreading tool. Due to COVID, she did contactless delivery. I put cash in an envelope and put it on my front stoop. She left the kit (random items thrown in a WalMart bag) and took my envelope.

So far, so good. A couple of days later I decided to complete the project. I tried to knead the teal chalk, but it was chunky and would not budge. I remembered her mentioning you could add a bit of water, but it would not spread. I decided to do the black instead since it would at least knead. It also was super thick, but I got it spread over the transfer. As she indicated, as soon as it was all covered I pulled the transfer off straight across and put the transfer in a bowl of water (room temp) that was sitting next to me this whole time.

I could tell instantly that it didn't work right. It looked like there were chunks missing. I still had some black chalk left over so I closed the packet tight and put it in a Ziplock baggie. Then I tried to clean off the transfer. There is black stuck in the holes of the transfer itself that absolutely would not come out. I noticed a date on one of the packets is from 2018 Not sure if this matters, but it sure could.

Knowing my project wasn't turning out well at all, I tried to pull up the Facebook event to find the designer, to find it was removed.

I tried a couple other methods to clean off the transfer, to no avail. It's permanently stained black with black stuck in the transfer holes. The chalk on the board has only crumbled more.

I tried to contact Chalk Couture by phone but was advised that they weren't taking calls, only emails I took pictures of all of the items of the kit and sent an email in.

The reply I received states that normally they'd ask that I replace items through the designer. Since I don't know who the designer is, they're willing to mail me out a new teal and a new black paste packet. Keep in mind these do me no good without a working transfer. I haven't tried to wash off the pallet thing yet, but if the transfer is dyed, I'm sure the pallet is also. She then informed me that the transfer and pallet I would still need to replace with the designer. The designer they already know I cannot locate, which is why they're offering the chalk.

I would like to either have the items replaced with fresh so I can get my money's worth of product, or have a full $25 refund.

We did receive an email stating that she had these troubles with her products and did respond to her. We are replacing the products that she had purchased from the Designer and have replied to her email informing her of this.

Great products. Fast deliveries. Awesome customer service. It really is easy to create items with this product.

I signed up for Chalk Couture on November 18th, 2019. I was told that I would be charged on the 5th of December.

My first package was originally shipped December 17th or 18th but I have yet to receive it. I emailed them to let them know and they said if I didn't receive anything by the 14th of January, to let them know.

I've emailed them twice now with no reply.

They also get new customers to sign up for three months before they are able to cancel their monthly subscription. I was charged on the 5th of January as well.

I feel ignored and at this point I've asked for them to cancel my subscription and to give me a refund but I've had nothing but radio silence.

Katelyn did call and leave a voicemail about this on 1/24/2020 letting you know that we are happy to get these two Club Couture subscriptions sent out to you as you did pay for them. In addition to this, we also would like to offer a free Transfer for the inconvenience of the delayed response time. We want to be sure our customers are receiving the best experience possible, and would like to get these products to you. It would be quicker to resolve this over the phone, however, if you would prefer to continue this via email please send us a response there.

We wanted to inform *** of the options available to her, so that she was able to receive a replacement if desired. We are happy to refund the two subscription fees and cancel the Club Couture account and will complete that today. The refund may take 3-5 business days to return to her after we have submitted it on our end. Once the cancellation is complete and the refund is submitted, we will send a confirmation email to ***.

There compliance dept is always trying to find something on you. I have worked my *** off trying to get people to join my team and signed someone up yesterday and someone going to join next week. Then today I get a email from the compliance dept saying this email is to inform you that your account has been suspended effective immediately. We have reason to believe that you are selling chalk couture products on Ebay, which is prohibited by policy. I sell my products on my facebook just like that's how I signed this person up. I also work for another direct sales company and I have never in my life seen so many rules like chalk couture has. By chalk couture saying you can't do this and you can't do that. Lots of people think a lot of the rules are crazy which they are. That is also why people are leaving the company.

Chalk Couture is a direct sales company and as such, we have policies that our representatives must agree to and abide by. If we have reason to believe a policy is being broken, we will suspend the account while we review the situation/issue at hand. ***'s account has been suspended while the Compliance department reviews the policy violation.

's account has been closed with Chalk Couture.

I had placed a order I never received and was told from Chalk Couture to call my credit card company and tell them to cancel the charge back. Which I did. All this happened in April 2019. as of 7/9/2019 I still have not received my refund. I called the credit card company yesterday and they said they sent the funds back to Chalk Couture as of 7/8/2019. Chalk Couture is still telling me that have not received that money. The credit card company says they have to be the ones that correct this not them. I have only gotten the run around about this issue since April. Then Chalk Couture says there is nothing else they can do. I think they need to call the credit card company and figure it out. My refund is suppose to be for $1,466.96.

contacted us regarding her refund. We did note that as long as her credit card provider had a pending chargeback, we did not have the money to credit to her since they were holding the funds. We asked her to cancel the chargeback and that we would refund her the money as soon as the chargeback was cancelled, processed and the funds returned to Chalk Couture. She requested the chargeback be cancelled and immediately wanted a refund from Chalk Couture. It takes 1-2 business days for a the merchant provider to process the cancelled chargeback. ***'s credit card company even provided her with this information.

Today we received official notice from our merchant service provider that the chargeback was cancelled and the funds were returned to Chalk Couture. The accounting department has already processed a refund to *** for this order and she will see the money back on her card within 3-5 business days.

When I first joined Chalk Couture I was not getting my shipments. I sent them a email letting them know this. They didn't seem to care. I had advised them I was going to get in touch with my credit card company and dispute the charges. Which I did. Now they have blocked my account and are telling me I needed to contact the carrier. I contacted the carrier this AM which was UPS and filed a claim. UPS said it would take them 8 business days. They also told me to get in touch with my credit card company and tell them to cancel the charge back. My credit card company is telling me not to cancel this charge back because if nothing is done then I would not be able to dispute it again and would be held responsible for the charge. I have people interested in joining my team and have an event coming up but, can't do anything due to this. I have provided them the tracking number so they can see a claim was filed with ups and it's under investigation. This should not just be coming up now since this was in April. Now all the sudden they care since my bank put the funds back on my account. In May I have worked very hard in my business and can't do anything now due to this issue with them. So it is causing me to lose money, points and moving up to the next status. I have told them over and over my bank will not do a charge back. This AM I asked for a supervisor call me and I still have not heard from one. Something needs to be done the first time someone tells the company they have not received there items. I'm not paying for something I never received. I use to think this was a good company to work for now I'm not so sure anymore.

We have received confirmation from the credit card provider that they have reversed the charge and they have withdrawn the money from our account. If *** does not have the money, she will need to work with her credit card provider. There is nothing more Chalk Couture can do at this point.

I contacted customer service thru email and said more people might join if you let them pick there transfers. I received a email back which states the following: New members

Hi ***,

Thank you for expressing your concerns with the Starter Kit. The Starter Kits for enrollment are pre-built kits to all include the same product. We do not have the option to choose your Transfers or Chalkology Paste colors for your Starter Kit during enrollment. However, once you have enrolled, you do get a coupon that allows you to place one order at 50% off the RETAIL price. So you can use that coupon purchase the additional products you are interested in that are not included in your Starter Kit.

I am sorry if there was confusion around Sam's response to your email. I talked to her about it and she said that she was attempting to communicate that she was sorry you were not happy with the Transfers that came in the Starter Kit and she would pass along the suggestion that we could maybe change that in the future. Again, I am sorry there was a misunderstanding there. She will work to be more clear in her communications in the future.

The Starter Kits are pre-built and have always been that way. There is not the option to choose which Transfers you receive in your Starter Kit. You are always welcome to purchase as a customer and choose the Transfers and Chalkology Paste colors you want to buy.

I made a decision to join this business on September 1. I bought the starter kit in one transaction and made another purchase using a discount in another. I refused both shipments upon arrival and sent them back to the company. On 9/6 I explained to them via email that I could not join the company afterall, which is when they instructed me to refuse shipment. As of 9/21 they said to have gotten one package and the other was still in route. As of today, 10/1, I still have not received a refund for either package.
I was told that their practices were to charge a restocking fee and process the return. I am on day 10 that they have had an unopened package and still not refunded my money. They have bad business practices and even worse customer service.

Both the Starter Kit and the second order that *** ordered have been refunded. She was not charged a restocking fee. She was refunded for both minus s&h. The refunds were processed on 9/27/18 and 10/02/18.

Chalk Couture believes this issue is resolved and the customer has been refunded accordingly.
