technician noted and made aware that the homeowner had already cut and reconnected the water lines to the softener loopThe temporary repair was made by the homeowner with a non plumbing rated or (upc) stamped parts, and was currently leakingThe repair indeed was quoted $After making the repair, and during the pressure up stage of the home, the technicians noticed the pipe had additional damages that were unseen and close to the wallThe sheetrock needed to be removed in order to achieve a length of pipe for a repairAs a reputable service company we did not want to leave Mr*** without water, we were able to execute a temporary repair that would get Mr*** and his family by, until a proper repair could be doneMr*** informed the tech that he would be leaving town the next day, we stated to Mr*** that price was subject to change and that additional charges were going to be acquired at this timeMr*** gave PDQ Plumbing phone numbers to call when we knew how much extra the parts and labor were going to beSeveral attempts were made, via phone call and voicemails leftA few days later Mr*** called us back stating that he had never received our calls or voicemailsAfter speaking with Mr*** and letting him know what the additional charges were going to be, he denied the offerIn our practice we needed to fix the repair properly and in order to do so some extensive plumbing work was going to need doneMr*** denied the quote of $with a 10% discountWith this being said I would like to state, that no money was collected from Mr***, not even the original $Again upon arrival Mr*** had no water to his homeWhen PDQ Plumbing left, out of the kindness of our company, we were able to execute a temporary repair that would allow the *** family water until a solid repair was madeWe are sorry we couldn’t come to an agreement
