Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because:I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and find that this resolution is unsatisfactory to me however, to move forward I just need to make it clear that when the servers are advised that their is a written contract that include drinks they should advise the customers of any drinks they offer that are not included in the contractThey should also verify and familiarize themselves with the customers written contract in order to provide them with the quality service they are expecting to receiveRegards, [redacted]

Attached is the refund athorization sheet for [redacted]. On the proposal signed by [redacted] it does say "pricing given is before and 8% tax &18% gratuity of any pre-discounted fee" so that would be tax and and gratuity off of the soft drinks and the $45.99 meal which was...

then given a discount of $29 ($1 per person) so it would then  become the price that was on the contract of $44.99 per person. There was also a discount of $26.91 which is for the fontain drinks, iced tea and coffee. which was on the proposal. The proposal does not mention that the brazilian soda would be included. It only says "fountain drinks". Gratuity was on the subtotal before tax and not after tax. As shown on the receipt(subtotal is $1429.11 tax is $109.86 and gratuity is $257.24) if you calculate 18% of $1429.11(price before tax) you will see that it is $257.24 and not 18% of $1429.11 plus $109.86(tax) which would be $277.01(which wasn't the gratuity). We will be better training our servers to ask the party host if they can sell something that is not on the proposal. We do apologize for any misunderstanding. So we will be refunding the Guarana since it wasn't clear which is $45.50 + $8.19 of the gratuity of the Guarana + $3.64 tax of the Guarana= Total of $57.33    Any questions please let me know.    [redacted]
