Chamberlain Landscaping & Maintenance Reviews (4)

I am rejecting this response because:We are not going to waste anymore of our time with this habitual liar and his slander. He can lie all he wants, but the truth will come out. We stand by what we have said and the review and complaint. [redacted] and [redacted] are cowards, liars, and scam artist. Their opinions of us does not matter to us. We are honest homeowners that would tolerate being scammed. The only thing that matters are the facts in this matter, not his slanderous lies. We are done trying to resolve this matter in a civil way. You can not work with someone who just lies and won't be honest. That is why they will never be more than con-artist and scammers. No further communication with them will take place. They are refusing to resolve this matter and pay us for damages and loss of use of our property after they quit. We will take that as a final response and not waste any more of our time.thank you

In response to the complaint from [redacted]. There was a patio window broken during the cement demolition. As soon as I knew of the incident, I contacted a glass company to schedule a repairman  to come out and replace the window when I was told by [redacted]'s significant other to...

not repair it until the landscape project was completed. I never indicated that I would not have the window repaired/replaced. Regarding [redacted]'s accusations that our company damaged their pool skimmer and water fall feature, I am attaching a copy of an email from [redacted], [redacted]'s significant other that clearly states he was the one that damaged the skimmer and asked that I find someone to repair the damage. This was a project estimated to cost nearly $49,000. I had a team of men at their home on a daily basis for almost 3 weeks (other than the days that we were rained out and work could not be productive). Upon each complaint the clients had, I worked to try and please them. They insisted on cutting cost and a less expensive wood was ordered for the shed. When they complained about the quality of the fence, I sent a new crew out to repair and did not allow the previous crew to come back (and ultimately fired those employees). We were on schedule to complete the project within days when [redacted] and [redacted] insisted that our company not return to their property and complete the job. I am attaching an email from [redacted] to myself and I am also attaching a copy of the letter sent via email to [redacted] on February 26, 2016.

I am rejecting this response because:this is a lie. We never agreed to any lesser quality of any product. We never agreed to anything this liar claims. He claimed he was a licensed contractor. He is not. His so called workers were not at the job site he claimed. They were seldom there that was the problem. He did numerous things without asking our permission. Please rwview contract it clearly shows what was approved and agreed on. No where in writing did we agree or aprove anything he mentioned. It is clear he will lie about evrything to screw over a homeowner. He quit we have saved texts from Anton stati g he quit the job and his loss was our gain. We will not respond to any more of his lues and threats. We will seek an attorney . he is not a licensed contractor and breached the contract. We will let a court decide.

Review: I hired this landscape company to do some front and back landscaping on my home through the Ygren project. I spoke with the owner of the company [redacted]. [redacted] told me he was a licensed contractor. I have found out that he is not licensed at all and is working under his brothers license [redacted]. After asking [redacted] for weeks for a sketch of what he planned to do and not receiving it. After his workers broke a patio window due to their negligence. Due to them damage our pool (skimmer and water fall feature). After their workers repeatedly not doing the job correctly. Putting up a fence with gaps in it and very unstable. The repeated shortcuts they kept taking. Trying to install product we did not ask for because it save him money, and trying to work without pulling permits. We finally halted the project and repeatedly asking him to get his act together. We put a stop to the project and advised him that nothing else was to be done until we met face to face and got things straightened out. He refused to meet with us and told us he was quitting the project. He sent me a text stating we owed him nothing and he would remove all materials of his from the job site. He did in fact remove his belongings, but refused to repair the broken patio window and pool. He is now refusing to give us a release of financial reliability as promised. The man is a scammer and con-artist. His own brother told us he had these same problems and that is why he left Utah and moved to CA. The only thing we want from him at this point is to the money to repair the pool $1300 and the money to replace the glass patio door $500Desired Settlement: The only thing we want from him at this point is to the money to repair the pool $1300 and the money to replace the glass patio door $500.

To be released of any financial liability to him or anyone involved in the project.

He removed tools that belonged to my husband, but at this point he can keep them. We do not want to see or speak to him ever again.

Response:

This client hasn't paid for a single thing we did, he currently has a lien filed against him die to not paying for the contract. I didn't quit our lives were threatened we tried three times to work things out with the customer. The final time my brother came to resolve the issues he then proceeded to threaten him [redacted]. We decided that he was unreasonable and able to work with. I have no problem with paying for the glass on the door. The skimmer the customer damaged and we tried to replace, he admitted the pipe was brittle. I hired [redacted] to come fix things, and gives us an estimate but he again threatened us and made terrible comments towards us. All subs have been paid out of pocket, no one will be coming after them. We removed over 10 dump trailer loads of debris, built a fence, built a retaining wall, set grade for pavers, had pavers delivered, wall block delivered, and several other materials.
