This is truly the worst dental experience I have ever had anywhere, simply because they lack ethics, any level of professional behavior, and honesty

This letter is in response to [redacted] ***'s complaint registered with the Revdex.com [redacted] received a treatment plan from our office for Services that were scheduled to be performedThat treatment plan was signed by [redacted] The total price of the service was $The treatment planned that was signed by [redacted] on 01/08/states "Insurance coverage is estimated-your actual indemnity may be less, You, the patient, are responsible for all amounts not covered by your insurance CarrierYear-to-date used benefits and remaining deductible amounts are not affected until the procedure is completed and therefore not used in this determination.”Our office provides, as a courtesy, an estimation of what the insurance company may cover for a specific serviceIt is not a guarantee of benefits and is only an estimate, An estimate was done on 05/27/through [redacted] 's current insurance plan and it was estimated that she would owe approximately She was scheduled to have the service completed on 09/16/14, but canceled due to insurance change[redacted] Came into the office on 01/08/and was provided a new treatment plan for the previously discussed service along with a new service to be done in the futureShe chose to only have one of the services done and was scheduled for 03/03/Our office told her they would obtain a new predetermination, however that was not doneIt is not necessary to complete a predetermination for dental services and again we do this as a courtesy[redacted] was given the previous estimate of $382,in error, Her services were submitted to her new insurance carrier and they did pay $438.00, we took an adjustment for $for being a participating provider leaving her with a balance of $This was $higher than the previous estimate from her other insuranceShe also had a balance on her account from previous services of $for a total account balance of $ [redacted] paid $60,towards this balance on 06/09/and paid the remaining $on 06/10/2015,Sincerely,Jenny SManager

I am rejecting this response because:
Response from the practice is completely UNTRUEI refused NOTHINGAs requested by the dentist, I waited over a week for his call back with his recommendationsHe had promised to call back within or daysI did NOT ask for a second opinionInstead I received a letter from the dentist, which I have a copy of, refusing to provide me with further treatmentHe never completed the "comprehensive oral evaluation" since he did NOT call back with his recommendations as he had promised
I did NOT refuse a prescription but simply said I had tried the recommended toothpaste in the past and it did NOT work for meThe dentist then stated, "There is no point in trying it again." and kept the prescription never even offering me the piece of paper the prescription was written on
This dentist has since decided to see me once more to hopefully complete the evaluation which he has already been paid forThis appointment is scheduled for 4/30/at 2:p.mIf the evaluation is not complete at that time, I will be pursuing further legal actionHowever, I would still like this noted with Revdex.com so that others are warned of the fraudulent practices of this dental practice

This patient was seen on 4/14/15 as a new patient to our office.  Her teeth were cleaned and a complete oral exam was completed.  The patient did not agree with our treatment plan and refused a proscription and a referral.  The patient wishes to have a second opinion and states her...

9/19/2017When [redacted] first came to our office on 10/28/2016 She had filled out her medical history/patient registration form stating that there was insurance coverage under her father [redacted]. The address listed on this form was [redacted] South Williamsport PA. This address was for the...

patient as well as [redacted].After 4 visits to our office, the remaining amount not covered by insurance was billed to The [redacted]. location 3 times (dates of statements were 3/2,3/30,4/28). Following this the address was changed in our system to [redacted]. Williamsport PA. There was a statement sent to this address on 5/24 as well as a Final notice letter. Both would've been addressed to [redacted]. After no response regarding payment on account it was forwarded to our collection agency [redacted] CO.After [redacted] was contacted by the collection agency he then notified our office as towhy he was getting billed for his daughters services. I explained the reason was that his address was the information on file for insurance as well as billing information, assured [redacted] that if he could have his daughter contact our office we could straighten things out with our collection agency.The following day (9/13/17) received a call from [redacted] after reviewing address information. Which she stated that she is currently in college, however she was still using her fathers address. I made sure her name was listed on the account as the responsible party if she comes in for any future dental work, She also gave me her address at college. She paid the account in full, and the collection agency was immediately notified that the account was paid in full.There should no longer be any issues with billing for [redacted]'s account.Dawn R.
