Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: In their response to you, [redacted] Auctions refers to a contract stating their terms and where my estate would be moved and soldAt the time my property was being loaded into their truck, Ron [redacted] said he did not have the contract paperwork with him, but told me to go to his office at the Hood River U-Haul the next day and see a person whose name was Marla and she would handle itWhen I arrived I was told that I had to go to their office in the Dalles (which turned out to be a job site trailer in the old Reynolds Aluminum plant)It was there that Marla presented their version of a "contract" which was nothng more than a sheet of paper with only hand written information stating the cost of the truck rental and labor for picking up all the items at my houseI was told a complete inventory of my items would be taken when the truck was unoaded - but as of this writing I have never seen that inventory.Their response to you also stated that I had been to the property where my items were being housed "numerous times" which is a statementI had never been there and have never seen any of my items since they were loaded into the truck and taken away I was also told that if there were items that I wanted to specify the value of, they would mark them with that value and if the sale price was not met the item would not be sold and would be returned to meOne item I specfied was the Oneida eight place settings of sterling silver flatware that I asked not to sell for less than $The after sale invoice that was given to me has no listing for the sale of this item For the last days your office has been closed for"training purposes" How long do I have to respond? We contracted with Mr *** in May of to sell his estate in our Day Surplus Sale under mutually agreed upon termsThose terms included where the estate would be moved and soldContract can be provided Monday as I am away from the office until thenMr *** property was sold in our
June sale and our July sale and we invoiced and paid him accordinglyChecks and invoices (invoices attached) went out the week of July 25thAs of today, Mr *** has not cashed his checkSince obtaining Mr *** estate we have had phone conversations with him (CSV file from our ATT bill) regarding the location of his property, the way the monthly sales are conducted, method of payment and that he did not have to take unsold property back unless he wanted which was a concern everytime we spokeWith all due respect, I believe Mr *** may have some memory issues as every time we called him the conversation and questions were as if we had never had any discussion priorAs you can see we called him on July 25th and he made the complaint on what appears to be July 27thHe also made an inquiry off our website that I promptly responded to him (screen shots attached) and we never heard back from him via emailIf you need any further documentation from me please email and I can provide on Monday or feel free to call me at 541-490-

The after sale invoice that was given to me has no listing for the sale of this item.
For the last 2 days your office has been closed for"training purposes".  How long do I have to respond?
I have more information to submit for this investigation that you would find helpful, however there is no more room.
