I was very impressed by the whole experience from Performance Exteriors Chad was very prompt in coming to my house to inspect my roof within a few days of me calling him He explained the process and what he recommended as well as worked with my insurance company to make sure I was getting the proper coverage for the hail damageAdam was in charge of the worksite and his customer service was top notch He made us feel at ease throughout the whole process and always kept our needs first I am happy with the results and would recommend them to anyone looking for a new roof
I had a wind insurance claim on a family owned cabin - received a quote from PE and then spoke to them about the difference in their estimate and what insurance was providing I was impressed with Adam's confidence that PE would be able to get the full cost of the roof job covered (minus my deductible of course) No other roofer communicated their ability or willingness to do thisAdam's communication throughout the process was top notch - eventually getting the insurance to pony up the proper amount for the jobI was not present for the actual work done - but a neighbor relayed, "I wish I had them do my roof" after observing the efforts of the guys doing the jobWeeks later, I communicated some observations of the work completed - Adam went out to the house the next day to address themRare is it for a company ....and an individual within....to demonstrate such communication, commitment and effort I would be hard pressed to find an individual that goes above and beyond to the extent of what I experienced with Adam and PE

While having new gutters put on my home it was discovered that water had caused some damage to the roof on the evesThe gutter contractor recommended Performance Exteriors to come and take a look at the roofAdam came and checked out the problem and gave me a quote for repairSoon after I discovered another leakAdam came and gave me a quote to repair both places plus to replace the entire roof on that side of the houseI chose to have the the entire roof on that side of the house repaired as it would be unlikely the new shingles would match year old shinglesWhile the work was being done Adam was present part of the time making sure I was happy with the work being doneHe informed me the new shingles did not match the shingles on the back of the houseI expected this and told him to finish the jobMy only minor complaint is that they were unable to use colored flashing around the chimneyThey did spray paint the flashing to make it look better with the roofThis is the only reason I didn’t give them starsIf I could have I would have given them stars All the rest of the work was done very well and professionally

My experience with Performance Exteriors was frustrating and disappointingI hired them to replace our roofPart of the project was covered by insurance due to hail damage and part of it I was paying forCommunication about the project and the invoice was poorCosts were never clearly laid out and I ended up paying more than $over what I expected to payThe quality of work performed was also poorThe roof was left lumpy, a shutter on the front of the house was broken, skylights were incorrectly removed and reinstalled to name just a few of the problemsCleanup inside and outside was also poorIt felt like Performance Exteriors was trying to cut corners at every turnOut of many home and commercial contractors I've hired this was one of the worst
Oct We have the listed company replace a roof on our Park Model Trailer This is a Summer type residence In April we visited the property and noticed mails protruding , and a nail hole in the ceiling When =we contacted the company they argued that they did not do this, and called us a liar We had no other work on the trailer since the roof and the nails were not there prior They refused to come and examine the damage
