Champion had gone out to the property for an air conditioning inspection the customer expressed she didnt want nor had an acShe expressed she needed her furnace serviced and inspectedChampion did have flashlights as I the technician always have lights in my bagI was wearing shorts as it was
a warm dayI did crawl down into the crawl space and and immediately noticed there was no combustion air venting in the crawl space and the unit was installed in the far back cornerGas-fired furnace upon combustion displace oxygenAfter assessing the situation I deemed this job as an unsafe situation and elected to no put myself in an unsafe situationI told the customer my concerns and with out addressing the combustion air situation champion would not service her equipment cause we wouldnt be able to warranty our work with our day no breakdown guarantee Champion told her no harm no foul and she could get a refund from *** *** as we didnt tender a serviceMonths had went by and she started calling demanding money from us when we hadnt taken any of her moneyWe bent over backwards dealing with this lady calling *** *** everytime this lady called to just give her money backChampion was dealing with this lady outside of the Revdex.com and got *** *** to refund her money to herChampion Heating Cooling and Plumbing has never rendered a service for this lady or at the property in questionThe lady Thanked me and said she would remove her comment only for me to find a un responded complaint on Revdex.com months after the factSo to sum upChampion had never done business with this lady and we helped her with a refund from a third party company of witch we had no control over *** *** giving this lady her money backAgain Champion has never done business, rendered a service or collected any money from this individual ever

Have been using Champion Heating Cooling and Plumbing for a couple of years now at multiple homes Great service at a fair price Their staff is honest and extremely nice They make me feel at ease when it comes to Heating and Cooling!

The first week of September, I researched companies to change my heater filter in my crawl space I looked at *** ***.com I found a vendor, Champion Heating, Cooling and Plumbing in *** Before I purchased the voucher, I called Champion asking several questions regarding the service: 1) Will you go in crawl spaces?, 2) Do you charge extra for this?, 3) Do I need to provide the filter or does that come with the purchase price? I was assured yes they go in crawl spaces, no, they don't charge extra for crawl spaces and yes, they provide the filters, kept on their truck

Bad service, unprofessional, angry furnace service owner/sole serviceman for his business who refused to honor the 90-day warranty of his own work and could not handle customer questioning and complaintHe charged me twice for the same service 87-days apartThe owner of Champion Heating and Plumbing and sole furnace-service person first came out to fix my furnace in November to address a no heat service callHe charged me for furnace inspection, no heat service call, and evap coil cleaningHe recommended monthly filter change with 20x25xfilterI trusted him being the pro and had been replacing with that size eversinceI did not like his attitude being arrogant at that timeBut he did get my furnace workingIn October 2018, the same problem arised, "system tipping on high limit." I called the furnace business with magnet ad attached to my furnace mistakenly thinking that was the business I used prior to because I did not want to use the same service as That was my faultI later found out that he was the same person/servicemanI was desperate with a cold house at that time, so I used his serviceAgain he serviced the furnace with a 15-minute service call and evac cleaning with a 90-day no breakdown guaranteeSurprisingly, days later, my furnace broke downHe refused to honor his own handwritten warranty on top of the printed warranty on the service order invoiceI insisted on the warrantyHe got upset, was shaking, and called me a PitbullThis is witnessed by my boyfriend and my boyfriend told him to leaveThe angry service man still charged me for the repeat serviceMy furnace is still not working and I have to hire somebody else so I do not have to use portable heatersI am nervous writing this review but other consumers have to be awareThe serviceman insisted my furnace still worksMy house is cold without the use of portable heaters as the heat keeps turning off by itself before it reaches degrees where I have the thermostat set atAlso, the size of the filter he told me to get is wrongIt fell down because it was too small so it was his fault that I had the wrong sizeMy furnace was running without a filterAnd then he changed what he wrote on the invoice about the size 20x25xHe now said I need to order a customized size of 22x25xthat is not available premadeHe again placed the wrong size in my filter too small which I paid for and taped it to place which he did not do before so it will not drop out of place
