Greetings
11/19/
I contacted Andre G***, Champion Home Improvement LLC to a water situation in my Bathroom window, I explained to MrG*** who did the inspection at my location that the water was the number one concern and that It has been coming through the WINDOW, buckets before I HIRE him. I explain to him we needed to know where the water was coming from and that this problem be solvedWhy would I have him repair the window and not the source of the problem which is exactly he didThe water is still coming through the window see attached videoIn retrospect he did nothing but cover up the same problemI have not heard from MrG*** regarding this at all after I contacted Revdex.com. His CREW also put in a too small windowI am enclosing the before pictures that's clearly shows the WATER problem that he knew about, and the after product where the water is still coming in as of TODAYHe should have not done the work if he couldn't fix the problemHis CREW also did a horrible job see pictures of fixing the windowDAY after he finish it RAIN, thank god, his crew came back out and nothing was solved the water still coming inI am also sending you before and after showing water being the initial problem and reason to contact him.
These pictures will show the inspection day one, regards to the window replacement and water problem
that Champion Home ImprovementI want Champion to fix the water problem as agreed and or install the correct size windowAfter more investigation he installed the WRONG size windowAlso other steps that were not made while repairing this problemI understand that because the water is still coming in that I am getting a MOLD situation all over againHis crew was supposed to take care of the mold problem as well? Why would they fix the MOLD situation if he didn't KNOW about the water coming in?

Review: I responded to a flyer from your company about repairs and restoration work at my store, when we met in your office my husband & I stressed that the WATER was one of the most important concerns. [redacted], specifically addressing window replacement, water damage, and roof replacement. I explained to the contractor that I had water seeping through my bathroom window and that the wall was molded and wet. I knew the window needed to be replaced. I also knew that water was coming from somewhere else. However, I didn’t know from where! I did however mention that perhaps the water was due to the walls in the rear of the property. I sent you pictures. (I am enclosing again) I ASKED for an estimate for the entire project, which included replacing one window, determining the cause of the water infiltration, and replacing inside bathroom walls and window. Once your crew finished replacing the window and repairing the wall, it RAINED (inside the bathroom). AGAIN. Your person came out and repaired the hole (THAT HE said) the water must be coming from. He also dried the wall with a dryer. The water infiltration was the most critical part of this contract in my estimation because to replace a window and walls without any resolution as to the cause of the water damage is basically spending money unnecessarily and is a waste of resources, time, and money. Water is still coming through my brand new window and the wall feels DAMP. I was not looking for a cosmetic job. It was my understanding that the rear brick wall would be pointed in the area around the window and where the water was seeping in.

Since the water is still coming into the same area, your company representatives have not resolved what I contracted them to do. From my understanding what you should have done was masonry restoration to include cleaning, pointing of bricks, and Installation of a new window & repair inside

Please contact me directly as to how this matter can be resolved with satisfactory results.

Greetings

Review: Champion Home Improvements erected a screened porch on my property in 2011. Some of the boards in the kneewall began to separate and pop out. In the process of repairing the wall, the worker broke some of the tiles on the floor. I keep getting excuses (weather, workers not available, etc.) from the principal, [redacted], regarding the reason for delay. It has been six weeks since I made initial contact and the tiles have NOT been repaired yet.

Business

Response:

We should be there Thursday to repair the tile work.

Thanks.

I am rejecting this response because:

I received a message from [redacted] stating they would come last Thursday, June 6, 2013, to make the repairs. They did not come due to rain. I have yet to hear from them regarding a make-up date.

Response:

We will be there Friday afternoon to complete the repairs.

Thanks for your patience.

I am rejecting this response because:

Once again, I was promised by [redacted] that Champion would come out this past Friday to complete the job. The weather was beautiful, so inclement conditions cannot have been the reason no one showed. I am now ready to report this company to the appropriate county agency(ies) for breach of warranty.

Regards,

Business

Response:

The service is scheduled. Sorry for delays. We have not breached a warranty because we intend on completing the work. We are trying to accommodate the customer ASAP I sent an email to the customer stating we would be out this week. She told us to bring a generator because we aren't allowed to use her power because she didn't want to incur any cost of electricity. We are now going to bring a generator to complete the job for her as soon as we can this week. The tile was cracked while providing warranty work so I don't understand why the customer thinks we intend not to provide the service.

Review: I was expecting to have a replacement fence matching the fence that needed to be replace. It was a privacy fence with 7 equal sections of 8 feet each. This did not happen. the fence that was installed had slats 5 1/2 inches wide while the previous fence was about 3 inches. The installation was unacceptable and not what I expected. It was difficult to get the owner of the company to come out and inspect the fence after many attempt to get him here. When he did finally come out, he did arrange for repair by a different person, However, the fence now has loosen where the slats are coming apart. There are more nails poking through. This fence is less than 4 months old and it is coming apart. It appears that the owner wanted to put a bandage on very poor construction. Furthermore he was paid prior to the completion of the job and I feel as if I was treated as if I didn't know what I was talking about. He told me the installation would be over three days but in reality if was done in one day. I assume that this is why it is coming apart. In speaking to several fence installers, they did say it takes at least three days for proper installation. When I told **. [redacted] that it took one day he denied it.Desired Settlement: I want this fence replaced to match the fence that was removed and the one that remains on the other side of my yard or a substantial refund of this unacceptable job.

Response:

We received a notice from this customer regarding the fence issues and went out to make repairs to the fence. If there are nails sticking out we will come make the necessary adjustments.

Thanks.

Review: [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: The nails sticking out is not the only issue. There are slats coming apart where the nails have loosen. I no longer have faith in this company. The owner did not install the fence as I requested and failed to follow up with me after the repairs were done. I feel he only wanted money and had no intent of giving me what I paid for. He got paid before I got what I agreed on. I find him to be less than an honest business man. To me it was a scam.
