We initially chose CHRC to build our screened in patio because of their stellar reviews, but we have regretted that decision every day since the project was deemed "complete"While Harold was nice, his crew was completely incompetent and did not deliver the quality we were promisedOne wall of our patio was installed so that it was not plumb (ie: crooked) and the screen door does not closeThe painted aluminum has so many knicks in it and there are so many holes created by crew mistakes that, for the price that we paid, the patio looks like an untrained Dinstalled it in a few hoursSince we have a two year labor warranty, we have requested that the crew come back out to fix the damages they made during installThey have been here twice, after us calling and emailing over and over again with constant brushes aside, but our wall and door are still not resolvedIt has been over two months, and no one at that company seems to care about helping to resolve their mistakesFor the construction we received, this company is severely over-priced

MrChampion's team just completed a screened in back porch/deck and concrete patio addition to our house We have both positive and negative feedback for this job
Positives: We are happy with the overall product Not only does it look great, but it appears (so far) to have been constructed with high quality materials The crew was friendly and always addressed our concerns and nit-picks with professionalism They appeared to work hard while they were on our site and seemed like they were trying to do a good job
Negatives: As time went on, it seemed more and more difficult to get their full attention to come onsite and finish the jobThe overall time it took to complete the job was much longer than expected They broke ground in early July and the job was completed in late November That's 1/months to build a deck...There were supplier problems with damaged material, material shortages, and even wrong material delivered on site, all of which may or may not have been avoidable with better project management But there was a stretch of over a month where little progress was made, even when there were outstanding items that were not waiting for material At times I would actually feel informed with the work schedule, but in general it wasn't easy to stay up to date In addition, I would repeatedly ask to have notice before they would come to the house, but about half of the time they would just show up with no notice at allIn summary, based on our experience, I would recommend Champion Remodeling to build a quality product But the end result may take far (times) longer than expected And staying well informed on the schedule and status throughout the job may not happen(Note -- I would rate a 1/if that was an option.)
