Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this does not resolve my dispute Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.Mr [redacted] I don't think you are full aware of everything that has happened with the work that the contractor supposedly had done, even tho I did sent an email to you, city inspector who should be arriving shortly today to walk my house again and see all the things that weren't done, and to your customer rep service employee Brandon I will be attaching a picture of the email to refresh this case, the last day that the contractors were in my house sr was on June the 8th feeling rushed by your company to finish up everything because it was the las day of ultimatum from the TDHCA , they did not complete they're job sr , as I explained on my last email they left a day after they came and provide my daughter a bad allergy reactionWho's special needs because of all the texture dirt they left at my kitchen, floor, living room, appliances, coaches , they returned the next day to "finish" the ceiling problems leaving it the same as it was before, they did replace supplies from my kitchen but that's about it sr and I do have pictures from the dirty and unprofessional job they didYou are more than welcome to contact me and set up a date and time at your convenience so you can physically come and see all the issues that NO ONE had care enough to correct them since my first original requestMy number is [redacted] Regards, [redacted]

In response to the above referenced complaint I submit the followingI conducted a site inspection with *** *** on her home on July 24thThe same day I received this formal complaintI have offered a cash settlement and awaiting a response nowI'm unsure where the failure in communication
occurred as I get conflicting information from the participants*** *** contacted our corporate office with the same complaint although phone and email records do not indicate numerous left messages or email correspondence neglected, I can only apologize for the delayed response*** *** *** *** takes very seriously our obligation to warranty serviceWe fully intend to fulfill that obligation either through cash settlement or repair and replacement of the materialHopefully we can resolve this quickly although I haven't heard back from *** *** at this timeIf you have questions or need additional information please feel free to contact meSincerely, *** ***

On May the 24th a contractor came in with the work order of fixing the cealing, Windows that don't open all the way, back sliding door, kitchen vent hood , kitchen sink, kitchen drawers that are place incorrectly and loose, kitchen doors broken, and cabinets that are cracked, he was not able to work on anything that involved on the kitchen because he was not sent with materials , he called *** customer service representative and told him to finish up what he was doing and to sent him a list of all the parts that needed to be replaced and order, that *** will immediately place the order for the sink, vent hood specially because those are special order , and the contractor assured me that he was coming back by the week of today the 31st, so the only thing that the contractor did was banging on my sliding door and "fixing "some of my kitchen cabinets , until now I have not received a call/email from no one verifying that information, today the city inspector called me to check on status and he was going to get back with me to find some answers, I'm sorry I don't think I ever got any business cards from all the members who had walked into my house and see the poor conditions that te is since we first bought the home Hopefully I can get some issues resolved just like it has been promised to us before.Too sad that as being a first time home buyer we don't get the results that has to be done on my first home from champion factory

Please enter your reason(s) for rejecting the business response below.As the homeowner I am very aware of the (1) one year limited warranty and coverage by Champion, however I feel this is their responsibility due to the facts of the crack. The crack is in the same shape as the drain and I have had a local contractor look at this and is the one that took the photos that Champion has. It is his determination that the crack was caused by not enough bracing under the drain by the manufacture of the home. I have contacted the company that makes the shower pan, and they said the same thing, if it cracks like it did, it is most likely an issue of bracing under the drain area. At no time has Champion been out to the home to inspect or look at this issue. I am now having to put the expense out of pocket to remove the pan and replace with a new one that the company that makes the pan has sent me at no cost. I will tell you that Champion was not even willing to contact them on my behalf, and I had to do that on my own. Champion is blaming their error on a dent in the top of the crumb cup on the drain and saying we as the homeowner have abused the drain in someway that caused the crack and I just do not believe that to be the cause at all, but just an excuse for them not to fix it from their installation error at the manufacturing of the home. Champion placed measurements on the photos sent to them without even coming to the home to inspect, the measurements and the assumption of the cause by Champion is incorrect. I wish for them to pay to have it corrected.

In response to the above referenced complaint l submit the following.On June 6· 2016 our contract service technicians completed all of the items cited during the TDHCA formalinspection. A follow up inspection by the State should confirm completion of the cited items.Again, l understand Ms. [redacted] frustration with her new home buying experience and can only apologizefor the untimely response. Materials issues created some of the delays but not all certainly and I won't spenda lot of time trying to explain our shortcomings to this regard. Hopefully we can learn from mistakes andmove forward.I also understand that the [redacted] are not happy with their new home purchase as evidenced by emailcorrespondence this week. I'm going to schedule a trip to the Midland/Odessa area within the next fewweeks and will make an appointment with the [redacted] to view their home and assess their complaintitems personally. I want them to feel good about their decision to purchase a Champion Home Builders, Inc.home.

Champion Home Builders, Inc. warrants our homes free of manufacturing defects for a period ofone year from the date of purchase. Things that can be damaged or wom must be reported duringthe tirst thirty (30) days of occupancy.Mr. [redacted] shower pan was clearly damaged after two years of occl.tpancy...

This indentio11 was not there or reported during the period in which Mr. Bryant'shome was covered by our Limited Warranty Policy.Champion Home Builders, Inc. takes serious our obligation to correct any defects in the originalconstruction or workmanship of our new homes. We must however, draw a sharp line ofdistinction between homeowner maintenance items and construction defects wrunnted byChampion Home Builders, Inc. Therefore, we must respectfully decline to provide the requestedservice.Sincerely,
