This is in response of the [redacted] complaintMr [redacted] called and was informed of our policy on damaged freight that can be found on our policy page on our web siteFirst call he was informed to file a claim with the freight carrier due to the fact he accepted the freight / hoodAt the time of delivery he had optionsRefuse the hood due to damage and the hood would have been sent back to me with no freight charges (free astray) Except the hood and note damage on the bill of lading and a claim could be filed for the damage or for the hood replacement as needed Except the hood without noting damage on the Bill of Lading and file a concealed damage claimHe chose the third optionI also told him on the first conversation I would help him with the process of filing the claim if neededThen I receive the second call and he was very rude and loud demanding that I take the hood back and ship him another hoodThis went on for minOr so and I had enough of his being rude and hateful talkI refured him to our policy page on our web site and said have a nice dayBusiness policies mean somethingI have to follow the truck companies policy and he needs to follow our policy and the truck companies policyThe fact he was very rude and demanding did not help the situationBelow is our policy that can be found on our website.http://championhoodsandproducts.com/policy.html Please call me if you have any other questions.Hoods and Products [redacted]

time of delivery he had 3 options. 1. Refuse the hood due to damage and the hood would have been sent back to me with no freight charges (free astray)  2. Except the hood and note damage on the bill of lading and a claim could be filed for the damage or for the hood replacement as needed. 3.  Except the hood without noting damage on the Bill of Lading and file a concealed damage claim. He chose the third option. I also told him on the first conversation I would help him with the process of filing the claim if needed. Then I receive the second call and he was very rude and loud demanding that I take the hood back and ship him another hood. This went on for 15 min. Or so and I had enough of his being rude and hateful talk. I refured him to our policy page on our web site and said have a nice day. Business policies mean something. I  have to follow the truck companies policy and he needs to follow our policy and the truck companies policy. The fact he was very rude and demanding did not help the situation.
