Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: My roof looks like ***. The color is half gone and the zinc is showing. Champion warrants the roof for 50 years. The paint is gone and the zinc is only 2 mils thick. The warranty is “not to perforate”. Note that the zinc started showing 10 years after application. So 2 mils of zinc is all that protecting the undelaying steel from corrosion for 40 years? I would think it WILL perforate before that. If the color is gone after 19 years, what is their warranty worth? They sold me a red roof and the color is becoming grey.
