Review: I and this company signed contract for roof replacement on 3/15/2014 but after 8 days they notified me via email that they cancelled the contract . Ii had made initial payment of 500 via check and had been approved of financing of the rest of money (around 8000) from [redacted]. As of today I have not been refunded my money however in the contract it states that the money will be refunded no later than 13 days of the contract signed date. Furthermore, because of their delay in refunding my money I have not been able to patch/repair roof during last week heavy rainfall. Now there is more damage in decking and even insulation of roofDesired Settlement: Pay for damage due to money holding and delay of roofing work due to their cause

Regarding [redacted], We called and cancelled the contract with him within 10 days per the Maryland Home Improvement Commission. After a site inspection we discovered additional work that would need to be completed. We gave him the option to allow us to amend the contract or cancel. He opted to cancel. We told him that as soon as his $500 check cleared our bank, we would refund him. We cut him a check roughly a week later once we confirmed his check cleared.

It looks like he received and cashed the check on or about April 7th.
