Champion Plumbing came to our home to clean out a kitchen drainThey hydro-jetted the drain on 5/18/ They came to scope the drain on 5/25/They did not have the proper wrench to unscrew our drain clean out so I let them use my Channel Locks to remove the drain plug capThey did the scope and left with my property (channel locks)I called the Field Supervisor the next morning and notified him (voice mail) and told him to bring my property back He phoned back (voice mail) indicating that he would take care of the matterNothing happened on 5/26/I called again on 5/27/17...I instructed the Field Supervisor to return my propertyNo response as of 7:PM on 5/27/As far as I am concerned this contractor stole my propertyOnce they were notified of this problem, they should have returned the customer's property...but they have not

Friday morning the technician show up at my house and do his work to drain the sewer line, I pay him $Saturday morning the Sewer still back it up to my bathroom and bedroom floorI call back to Champion Plumping and rooter for asking them to rework, but no one picks up the phone I leave the message to them but no one responds back to metotal call times from am to am, my last message for them I will call another plumping to take care of my issue after AM, right now 9:am the still not respond to me

On 10/30/I called Champion Plumbing to repair a leaking water line tubing connection to my refrigerator and to replace the inoperative brass ball shut-off valve at the wallI asked the technician ("Drew") after he arrived several times what the cost estimate was and I could not get an answerIn retrospect when I couldn't get a price I should have sent him on his merry way, my bad!! After taking several pictures on his smart phone, he left to get parts apparently a shopping trip to *** *** that was over hours in durationWhen he got back with some parts and after again being pressed for a cost estimate he stated that they charge by the job and that tying into copper would be a $job while tying into plastic was a $jobIF, IN FACT, THEY CHARGE BY THE JOB, WHY COULDN"T THEY HAVE INFORMED OUT FRONT WHAT THE JOB PRICE WOULD BE? I would have sent Drew packing as $for a small job like was done and which I paid for under protest was obsceneSubsequent to the job being done and paid for, I attempted to resolve my differences with Jeff at Champion's officeHe offered to refund $on the basis that hours "labor" was expended and there $in partsI told him I had a problem paying for a multi-hour shopping trip for parts when they knew what the job was in advance and should have come with certain basic parts that are required to connect a water line to a refrigeratorHe also refused to honor several coupons ($off any plumbing repair and/or 20% senior discount) that were on their web siteI told him that I thought anything he would charge over $was be obsceneHe hung up on mePS: I called Champion to start out with because they cleaned out a sewer line for me recently in what was consider a satisfactory basis at the timeNo way will I ever look to them for any plumbing work in the futureBeware of anyone who will not give you a cost estimate before starting workYou'll end up with a $bill and a big hole in your wall!!!!

I wanted to warn people to stay away from this companyIt is total Rip-offFor an hour of "work" plumber named Forest presented $bill!?!? This bill was for running snake ft (which took about min) and replacing garbage disposalMost discussing situation I have ever been in my lifeNot only that I was surprised, speechless and disappointing, I'm discussed with explanation of pricing
Plumber explanation of high price is because they are professionals and they do big jobs and this is small job so it's expensiveWhile he was "working"he showed me picture of some work they can do which he called Hydro Jetting and they charge $for that
At the end, he presented price higher than that treatment which is most expensive
I should be given price before he started- That would be professional not just word "professional" that company claims that's what they are
He was about giving "discount" $(like I should be happy to have $50?????) and he called it "Discount"????? That was not discount, it was part of RIP-OFF
By the way, what's most disturbing, very sad, disappointing is fact that this was done to a women with foreign accent thinking "She has no clue, easy target"
Called office next morning and have been told that owner will contact meStill waiting for that call
IF THERE IS NO STAR OPTION IT WOULD BE FOR THIS COMPANY!!!

Robert, I'm sorry to hear that one of our guys accidentally took your channel locks I know it was not intentional and our supervisor should have had them returned immediately I will make sure that this happens or I will buy you a new pair Thank YouJeff S*Owner

Fast response time, helpful service technicians, found the problem and worked with us and the city to fix our problem.
