I've been wearing it for weeks now and I just adore itI was working with my mom's pear shaped center stone diamond and having it resetI stopped in at least other places to talk about ideas/get quotesRight off the bat Boone & Sons was differentKnowledgeable, direct, willing to go down the rabbit hole of my ideas but steer me back to things that would workI worked directly with Erik Boone and it just felt like chatting with an old friendAn old friend who knows EVERYTHING about jewelry! Erik was so incredibly helpful with opinions, ideas, etc and REALLY listened to my (at times ridiculous) idea and helped incorporate themI came by or times before pulling the trigger, with a different style in mind entirely, but after trying on more vintage looking rings and talking with Erik about possibilities zeroed in on what I REALLY wanted and it was a complete from my original ideaAfter talking me through series of gut checks, I felt completely certain and super excited about what we came up withMy final design was a hodgepodge of things/pictures we had talked about and basically completely custom from scratchErik and I went over every detailJose, the ARTIST that executed the work, did an exceptional jobI just feel so lucky to have worked with these two gentlemenWhen my fiance and I came to pick up the ring, justthere are no wordsIt was better than I could have imaginedFrom start to finish, just an amazing experienceOh yeah and price- GREAT and transparentMy fiance already ordered his wedding band from these guys, and I'm contemplating a matching band to my gorgeous engagement ringIn short, as long as we are in DC, I'll never go anywhere else! I went to Boone & Son’s to purchase an engagement ringI was extremely nervous about the whole process because of how little I knew about diamonds but Erik sat with me for a few hours and taught me an enormous amount about themHe did an incredible job of putting me at ease about making such an enormous purchaseI cannot rate them highly enough, from the service to the prices, the experience was superb
The process of custom designing an engagement ring was made much less intimidating by clear plans and pricing The result is a ring I will treasure forever!
