Champion Windows attempted to install vinyl siding on my home and used unqualified contractors who caused significant damage to my home They sent unskilled workers who had never installed siding previously They left the job each day with nails, equipment, construction garbage all over my property Champion fired the first group of so-called installers and my house was left with no gutters for over weeks with rain, snow and ice left to damage the inside and outside of my home They broke the roof shingles all wround my home when they rested the ladders against the roof itself They caused thousands of dollars worth of damageNever returned phone calls, ignored my messages to them and did not fulfill their contract to me

I purchased windows from Champion when I purchased my home At the point in time, I was a first time homebuyer and trusted the contractor to know the rules, regulations and codes They issue permits all the time in the city of Pittsburgh I also was very clear with the sales person of my ignorance of building permits and codes and he ensured me that Champion would handle all of that Champion never had the windows inspected It's now years later and the building inspector came to inspect Champion installed unsafe windows in two of my bathroomsThey have now recognized the fact that they installed unsafe windows in two of the bathrooms These are windows that could have potentially caused bodily harm to myself, my family and my guests Champion acknowledges this extreme error on their part However, their only solution to this completely preventable error is to offer to replace the sashes at my own costTheir excuse is provided by the district sales manager of "I wasn't he

My sun room was installed on August 5, It has leaked ever sinceAt first the customer response was exemplaryThen they had trouble finding and stopping the source of the leak We had good communication throughout and they tried to fix the leaks but one leak persisted and couldn't be solvedI believe it was in March that they tried putting a coating on the roof to stop the leak It did not work I have been trying to get hold of them sinceI have called their office number and it doesn't even have an answering machine that identifies the companyHowever, I have left multiple messages I called their number repeatedly and have spoken with many representatives all who assure me that someone will call I have repeatedly asked to be called on my cell phone but I was called once on my home phone during the day I immediately called back and had to leave a message but they, to this date of July 14, 2018, have not called back Sadly, one person who I spoke to a

said they would replace molding under my one window in juneI'm still waiting and can not get any body to call back and let me know when or if they are coming to replace it

I bought windows from Champion and had problems with of the screens that are to big for the windows I cannot and neither can their serviceman remove them for cleaning Their serviceman came about months ago to remeasure and order new ones, which they were suppose to put a rush on but cannot get them to return my calls The windows have a lifetime warranty I think problems with out of windows is ridiculous

I purchased a new roof with new gutters and downspouts from Champion Windows and Siding When the work was done on June 2, I noticed some flaws in the workmanship and immediately contacted my salesman I called several time and he never returned my calls (for an entire month) When it rains, the rain runs behind my gutters which floods my front porchThe rain also runs behind the gutters in the back of the house and drips down the windows and the house I have never had a water problem in my basement, and am concerned that I will, because of the amount of water that runs towards the house on the porch when it rains
There is a noticeable high spot with the shingles which is right above the front door
The downspouts were also put on incorrectly allowing water to drip on the outside of the downspouts which will freeze in the winter The downspouts were equipped with only one hanging bracket per downspout(Even the one that is feet long)

In January my wife and I purchased windows from Champion Windows of Pittsburgh, PAWe then were given an installation date in February My wife took a personal day from work on the installation date given however, Champion Windows's installers were a No Call/ No ShowAfter, making several calls to the Champion Window's office I was told their truck broke down and they needed to rescheduleWhen the installers did arrive at our home in the follow days to complete the window installation process, Champion Window's installers damaged the siding of our home along with leaving debris all over our front lawnUpon my wife and I finding the debris and noticing the damage to our siding in the front of our home under a window, I attempted to contact management within Champion WindowsAfter, several attempts I finally spoke with a manger whom I shared photos of the damage with via cellular phoneHe then confirmed the damage was not there prior to installation after reviewing Champion

On 3/30/a contract was signed for windows to be made an installed by to weeks from the date of the contract as well as a $1,down paymentThere was little commutation with Champion with regards to when it would be installed, the first date they gave us was only three days to move our furniture for the installation in May, but they cancelled that installationWe have tried to call to reschedule; the closest date from that was to weeks from that first dateNo second installation date was set; 6/22/was the week mark from when we signed the contractWe have been calling everyday multiple times a day from 6/18/with no call back, no set installation date, and when we call our local office we don't even get to talk to anyone in the office

We entered into a contract with Champion Windows on 11/17/ The contract was for the removal and replacement of windows double hung windows and slider windows The windows were replaced the last week of February Unfotunately, of the windows that were replaced were not double hung as indicated and paid for but solid picture windows instead We didn’t receive an explanation and are still waiting on a resolution or offer of resolution because nearly months later the job is still NOT complete! During install the installer realized the wrong grids for the slider windows had been ordered He still installed the windows and told us it would take 4-weeks to get the correct grids They also failed to order screens for all of the windows on the front of the house We were told this was no big deal and that the correct grids and missing screens would be ordered and arrive in 4-weeks When I called and asked why were did not get double hung windows as ind

I ordered windows from Champion and what I ordered and what I received are two different things Now Champion is stating that on their copy of the contract it is marked but on my copy of the contract nothing is marked It would be very easy for them to add to their copy after I had signed it but very difficult for me to erase something from my copy
They had admitted that it is a mistake on the part of the salesman but now they want me to pick up additional costs so they can fix THEIR mistake
I feel it is their mistake they should absorb any cost necessary to resolve this issue
